We came from Edinburgh to sample some wedding cakes and after a quick scout of eateries, we decided to give Gusti D’Italia a try, and it did not disappoint. Super friendly, helpful staff with a warm, inviting atmosphere…
Whenever I eat, 90% of the time I would always choose Italian, so I can be a little fussy if it’s not done a certain way (authentic way)…however, the food was OUTSTANDING. We had half a pizza pasta with a bruschetta starter, and it was so tasty. The carbonara tagliatelle was perfect, as was the pizza, served quickly and hot. Great menu with fantastic kids, desserts, and drink options too, and not expensive at all. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

I bought pasta carbonara, and it’s definitely not carbonara. Even the frozen pasta sold in supermarkets tastes more like carbonara than this.

We were travelling through the area and found this lovely Italian restaurant. What a wonderful experience it was. Staff were so kind and attentive. The food was great value for money and well prepared. The restaurant is spacious and filled with authentic Italian decor. I wanted to get some pictures and they accommodated above and beyond with showing me great areas for the perfect picture! As it was my birthday I was surprised with a lemon chello shot before we left. I hope to visit again if we are ever in the area. Highly recommend ❤️

My grandmother really wanted Italian food when we went to visit my uncle in Scotland. I saw that Gusti D’Italia had great reviews here on Google so I went with her. Oh my.. the food was nothing like what these pictures here look like and had this toxicity to it. Clearly wasn’t fresh ingredients even if it was freshly cooked. The atmosphere felt like a bar that allows indoor smoking rather than a classy Italian restaurant. The place reeked of cigarette smoke which almost triggered my asthma, luckily I was fine. When my grandma complained to the alleged owner, the short guy with the funny accent who is certainly not Italian.. he was very cruel to her. This was the worst experience I ever had at a restaurant in Scotland. If you like good food, a nice dining atmosphere, and good service.. I strongly urge you to reconsider going to this restaurant or not.

Came in last minute, late in the evening and were greeted by a lovely friendly staff and served super quickly. Food was delicious, portions were huge and we could not stop eating it. Very reasonably priced too for the quality served. Highly recommend 10/10

Just had a lovely Christmas Dinner for 12 family members at Gusti D’Italia and can’t praise the staff enough. Menu coices were preordered which meant no time wasted in serving the excellent food to our table
Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to ensure our Christmas Dinner was perfect. Am regular visitor to this restaurant but will certainly be rebooking for next year.
