I ordered the cajun wing platter for myself takeout. It was delicious. Aunt Berta’s is on the same route where I got my hair done. Now I think I will stop there every time I have a hair appointment.

Me and my fiance got lunch here the other day. Everything was pretty good. The collard greens and yams were amazing. Fiance got chitterlings and pigfeet which she said were ok. I got flounder and ribs, the ribs were ok to, very tender and flavorful. Idk if they were boiled, but there was a weird flavor I didn’t like to them but they were still good. We also tried the turkey wings and black eyes peas, which were great.
The sweet tea and tropical lemonade were great. Nice little spot here for some grab and go soul food.

I had the smothered chicken and it was horrible the Mac and cheese tasted like pepper and the collard greens were the only good thing on my platter idk if it’s the cook or what but I will never recommend to eat here and this was my FIRST TIME COMING and I spent 30$ on my food never again

The food and staff were AMAZING! We are from out of town and stopped here to eat before we headed home. We got the fish fry platter and mac and cheese. Everything was so good! Wish they had this restaurant where we live!

I had the beef ribs and they were beyond tender, falling off the bone and seasoned to perfection. Greens were really good, seasoned to perfection as well. The potato salad was really good as well. I would give my meal 10 stars if I could. Customer service was great too. This was my second time coming I used to pick up from them when they were in Berlin Farmers Market. They are much closer to me now. Will continue to come here! Thanks!

Hot sauce & Soul food, especially fried chicken are synonymous, why are you charging over a $1 for hot sauce? The meals no longer come with a roll? We frequent here alot, lately the service has been disappointing. We feel nickled & dimed. They often forget sides & when you call they are defensive, rude & outright mean. When we took a picture of our under cooked pork chop & showed the manager he responded “thats not our pork chop” smh unbelievable. The portions are extremely small its disrespectful. Preschooler portions. We tried & tried to continue to patronize but you have left us no choice but to fall back. The charging of the hot sauce is absolutely outrageous. Aunt bertas we bid you farewell.

It has been a while since I had Aunt Berta’s food. I figured I would treat myself to a platter. I got the mix and match which I selected the smothered pork chop, famous turkey wings with sides of Mac and cheese and greens. As soon I tasted the smothered chops, I noticed that it was a poor and fatty cut of pork chop l. The gravy that it was drowned in was extremely salty! I went to the turkey wings which is usually on point but noticed an odd and old smell to it. I bit into pure disappointment and dryness. I probably could have dealt with the dryness if it didn’t have that odd smell. To best describe the smell, it reminded me of the smell of old potato chip that have that stale smell. . The sides were just okay but nothing to write home about. I was so disappointed that I ended up throwing the entire platter in the garbage. This platter was not cheap either….Poor customer service and bad food is the recipe for disaster… Do better!!!
