Stopped in for a Authentic Mexican meal, menu looked good. We ordered guac and chips – they were well liked by my kids. We ordered 3 Jarritos, 2 burritos, Azteca Bowl Supreme( they forgot my nopales but the wait was to long to fix), quesadilla, and 2 single tacos (chorizo). Amount of food was good, lacks flavor, seems like a lot of the Chipotle sauce was used for the flavor. Wait time was a long wait (30min ish), we finished and paid. For the food it is pricey when your talking burritos and quesadillas.

The guacamole chips is the killer. Warm chips dipped in the rich creamy guac. The steak burrito is huge and has large strips of steaks in it but the flavor is a bit bland for me. Service is good. People are friendly. If I can be served with water while waiting for my coffee then the experience will be even better. Overall it’s alright. I might come back again.

Best Mexican food I’ve had in a very long time and it’s in the middle of nowhere. I implore/behoove you to come here as soon as possible.

I had the carnitas tacos and, unfortunately for me, I had to bring them home because of a previous VSG surgery but I need you to know that this is one of the very rare times I’ve wished I didn’t have that surgery.

I immediately ordered dinner from here for tonight and tomorrow. Their Al Pastor tacos and burritos are also stellar.

Great little spot. Friendly, quick service and delicious tacos. We stopped for a quick snack and liked the tacos so much that we wound up getting a sexier order of them. <$4.00/taco

Although they do have Cafe in their title, I did not come here for no churros. Just did a century bike ride out of Queens, NY and the food is slammin. Service, taste, follow up on requests, all just great. Photos will speak for themselves. By the way, get the pico, its AMAZING!

Such a hidden gem!! The agua frescas were super good (they had maracuya my fave), our food came out fast + was great, and service was lovely. I don’t eat meat and there were plenty of other pescaratian options! We’ll be back 🙂

The food is fantastic! It’s always fresh and everything is made to order. If you like pork try the Michoacán Burrito or pork tacos. The people are nice and the service is great.

This restaurant opened approximately in 2019, replacing the lot vacated by Railhead Jerk. There is another branch of Avocado Café in Millerton by the border to Connecticut. This branch in Amenia is cozy and brightly decorated. Friendly staff and credit/debit cards are accepted. There is an alfresco section when in season. The food is delicious, though there were no desserts during this review except churros at $6 for two with a scoop of ice cream.

This is a delicious, family-run place serving food that is made with love. Not your run-of-the-mill small town Mexican joint serving huge Margaritas (not to knock those!). Sopes? Killer! Nopales on the menu – amazing! Enmoladas? Fire. Al pastor -a bit on the salty side but still better than anything I’ve had in the area. This is a great spot to stop at if you’re coming from the Wassaic metronorth station and are hungry after a long ride from the city. Hope they continue to get good business! They deserve it
