I just tried this place for the first time and I was very impressed!! One of the top best taco spot in Arlington forsure! The corn tortilla was not to grease neither to dry it was just perfect! The pastor meat had a unique flavor but it was so good! And the green salsa you can tell its homemade just like my grandma used make it!! Definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking to try authentic Mexican food. I WILL BE BACK!

Oh my gosh, I needed tacos tonight and this place delivered that and so much more. I didn’t expect this Mexican place to have the crispiest most delicious fries of my life! They remind me of the fries in Belgium. Also, I got chorizo, carnitas, y pastor tacos and they were all BOMB! The steak quesadilla was incredible and the staff was so good about asking how we wanted the food. They brought us all the sauces lol and it was a really relaxing environment. We drive from Garland for Taco Pionero. Their food is consistently good every time we return. This time we also tried their sopes, torta, and charro beans.
Fausto and the cooks were great. We arrived when they had a huge rush, but they treated everyone great and our food came out fast and tasty.

I’ve had the pleasure of being able to enjoy their food since they opened their doors, and I’ve never been disappointed.
The establishment is always clean, the food is CLEAN, not greasy like some other taco shops in the area, and the taste is always incredible. The carne al pastor is the BEST. Staff is always super welcoming, and always makes sure you have what you need.

Be careful this people are scammed with thyre prices and they add 3% if you pay with card or you get 3% discount if you pay cash so they launder money is that why they prefer cash very shady place . Pozole it $14.49
And I got 2 small and I was charge 32 for 2 which is 16 before taxes and the 3% charge for paying with card and plus taxes . That’s messed up never again.

This place is a gem. The food tasted incredibly authentic and flavorful. I ordered the Pionero, their signature item, and it was so good—perfectly seasoned, filling, and fairly priced. Great quality for the price. Highly recommend checking this spot out! Definitely coming back for sure!!

They were both great you know in some restaurants. They use very low quality products in this particular restaurant. It’s always high-quality meat and fresh vegetables, and condiments.
They have a great selection of drinks too. I think what really stands out here is the service David the owner could be working in the register and making suggestions to you on what you should order. If it were me, I wouldn’t hesitate to visit this location. This restaurant is one of our favorites in town.
If you’re local or if you’re coming from a way out, I would highly recommend!
