This spot is interesting. I struggled a bit with this star rating. Let me explain. We entered the establishment at the beginning of lunch… only a few patrons and all were sitting at the bar speaking to bartender. We did st the doorway for a moment not sure which direction to take, the reason is that you have a butcher counter on the right with display cases full of steaks, sausage, etc…. on the left is a bar. Tables are scattered throughout both sides. We were uncertain if we wait to be seated, seat ourself, order at counter, order at bar? We were new so this is a minor issue, the reason for deduction in star score was that no one offered any assistance, we were not greeted. Only when we decided to head to butcher counter and asked, “is this where we order” were we even acknowledged as being in the building. We were never offered silverware and it was not available to get on our own so we had to ask the bartender and it was provided. This same silverware ritual occurred with each patron that entered after us as well. The food is fresh and good quality. The onion rings were undercooked and cold, the street corn and fries also were tasty but cold. Sirloin dip was tender but a bit bland. The star of the show was by far the pulled pork. Super tender and flavorful. Locals definitely love this place as it got super busy while we were there… I will give benefit of doubt that maybe it was an off day because something is clearly drawing the crowd.

Our first time their. Not disappointed. We tried some items we’ve never eaten. The sirloin sandwich with au just was terrific! The rueben needs just a little less saurkraut and a little more meat. But overall – great. Will definitely be going again. 2 adults, $45-50 for our meals and teas.

So flavorful! Meat is tender and delicious, fries and onion rings well spiced, even the ranch has more flavor than normal. Friendly, helpful service, cute decor and clean bathroom (adding changing table would be nice if possible). Recommend sirloin dip and Karv burger.

Amazing! The food is so good… Son had Octoberfest platter he loved it all I had the pastrami Reuben… It’s the best I’ve ever had. Price wise.. It’s no more expensive then going to beefs or cluckers.. The food is fresh and fantastic best restaurant in town I’m a big German food lover so this was my jam! We got it togo… Let me just say nothing was soggy or cold… It was like getting it at the table… This place gets 10 stars

Karv is such a great find! The food is absolutely delicious — everything tastes fresh and full of flavor. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, perfect for families or a night out with friends. The tavern is a nice bonus too with great drinks! Definitely one of those places you’ll want to come back to again and again!

Drove to from Louisville for a glass festival and found what is simply the best damn smash burgers I have ever had. Bad Hombre- order the double! Well crafted- and that’s what it is- crafted! The bun held up to the fantastic juicy burgers! Well worth the drive and especially a great destination for a weekend motorcycle ride!! Delicious.

Recently established family owned and operated eatery, butcher shop, bar and small deli. Stephanie and Jacob behind the bar are very helpful, nice people. The kitchen staff are friendly and the food is great. I’m especially fond of the soups and deli meats.
Love this place!

The onion rings, wine and service were amazing. The burger was underwhelming, not what to expect from a butcher shop. Both of our burgers were small and lacked flavor. The atmosphere was very nice.
