Had the burger special for lunch . Egg , bacon , cheese. Burger was done right and was not sloppy . One of the better egg burgers I have had Home made chips topped it off good. Others had turkey gravy sandwich with mashed potatoes looked good. One other had the wet Buritto . It was loaded and filling .
Service was good , kept my soda filled and beer for the others. Wood burner had the place nice and warm on a 10 degree day. Like the early wood decore adds to the warmth of the place . Tables were clean and ready to serve. I will be coming back . Some interesting items I want to try , like the Cuban sandwich.

Took a trip Prescott to try Cafe International out. We had the Jagersschnitzel and Potato skins. The schnitzel was made as we sat there. We could hear the chef pounding the pork loin before pan frying it. Everthing is made as you order. Nothing sits under a warmer. The service was very friendly and attentive. Everthing was delicious. We followed up sharing the carrot cake because we were so full. The carrot cake was absolutely delicious, next time I’m not sharing. The salad bar came with the meal and was very very nice.. This is an out of the way gem worth the drive and very reasonably priced. Definitely telling everyone we know and going back to try one of their other meals.

Brother in law get us a gift card for Christmas so we picked one of the snowiest days to check it out was not disappointed for one of the first times that we moved up here from Oakland county we enjoyed the food the service and the atmosphere in a restaurant, the salad bar is a must I had the club sandwich witch was one of the best I ever had ( I know how can you mess up a club sandwich) well I’ve had the experience many times. Anyway it was worth the dicey drive from st Helen. Thank you cafe international ♀️

Tonight we found a little gem hidden away in the small town of Prescott Michigan called Cafe International. I was a bit skeptical when I entered but after sitting down and looking around I said this is an interesting restaurant which was formally a hometown bar. Now it’s not extremely fancy but it’s got that “Up North” feeling that we all desire when we travel in Michigan. Being an international restaurant they have the flags of all types of nations there they have currency mounted and displayed on the walls and all other types of souvenir memorabilia from different countries. Now the food is what I looked at. We were there to celebrate a birthday and we were not disappointed. The menu is full of different foods from different countries. I first ordered an appetizer “Basket of Bones” which was ribs tips. For my main course I had Jager schnitzel which originated in Austria but is served everywhere in Germany. Of course the meal came with mashed potatoes, vegetable, a small roll and the salad bar. One friend had the pork chop special which was two good size pork chops with mashed potato and veggie and the buffet salad bar. My other friend had the standard hamburger with fries. I’m telling you folks we were impressed with all of the food and the promptness of delivery of the food plus the food came out at the desired temperature. We decided to have some dessert, my friends had the brownie delight and pumpkin pie and I had apple pie. My friend expressed that she really did enjoy the brownie delight and the pumpkin pie. I was overjoyed with the hot apple pie. Very well satisfied with the food and atmosphere of this restaurant. Definitely coming back here to eat and try many of the other foods they have on the menu. I think I found a little gold mine here and I’m not afraid to share it with all of you. Especially we noticed that the prices were extremely reasonable. I didn’t see anything overpriced.

Cuban sandwich was delicious.
Tuscan chicken. Pasta with sun dried tomatoes and grilled chicken on a delicious creamy sauce. You want more than 1 bread stick to soak all that deliciousness.
If you still have room, try some of their pies and cakes. I did. Carrot and 3 layer chocolate…what can I say. Well done.

This café is top tier in the quality and all around precision to giving you the very best. I have been to other countries, and the menu items here pretty much match the most ordered dishes there with one major difference… the chef and staff here are creating much better quality and taste in comparison. I will definitely return to this café. Just happened to stop in while I was driving through the area and I was getting hungry. But now, because of my experience, I will definitely take the drive just to come back and get that experience again and again! I highly recommend you come try this place out!!

We had a party of 9 and everything went smoothly. The food was also very good and tasty with a homey and country flair. The wood burning stove on a cold wintery day was much appreciated.

What a hidden gem! The portions here are huge. The Oktoberfest menu was being served during our visit, and boy, the spaetzle could not have been any better- chewy perfection. My friend got the Chicken Paprikas that also used the spaetzle. The creamy sauce enveloping the egg noodles took the dish to another level.
For appetizers we got the southwest dumplings and Crab Rangoon. The fusion offerings here made it easy and had something for everyone. Though it was lunch, few of us got the dinner menu so we could get the salad bar that comes as part of your meal.
