After months of driving past this place we decided to check it out.. and by God are we glad we did! If you’re looking for a spot that hits the perfect balance of fresh, flavorful, and fast, then University Broiler & Grill is simply a must-visit!
Easily one of the best spots in Ogden for high-quality Mediterranean-style eats without the “fine dining” wait or price tag. It’s like the perfect hidden gem!
We had the Lemon Chicken and it was incredibly flavourful and also the Lamb Kabob which was succulent and wonderful. Both are absolute standouts, tender and perfectly seasoned. Their rice pilaf is fluffy and savory, and the salads actually taste fresh, not like an afterthought. The fries are awesome too!
It’s clean, casual, and the staff is consistently friendly, making it a great go-to for a quick lunch or a relaxed family dinner.
Arguably the best reliable, local favourite that never misses the mark. 10000/10 — Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be back too!

I walked in and was immediately greeted by Lorimar. He smiled and welcomed me in. I had quite a few questions and he answered them with ease! He also recommended plates and different combinations for meals. Food was hand delivered and delicious! I’ve only came here twice, but it is my absolute favorite place to go after my classes. Also small things matter to me a lot. I love how Lorimar brought me TWO fry sauce containers without me asking for any! This employee is amazing and his customer service skills are soaring through the roof! I will continue eating here weekly for years and I don’t see myself getting tired of it at all! What a beautiful atmosphere with all the flowers, decor, lighting, and artwork! I would highly recommend eating here and enjoying some Greek food!

I’ve done a lot of international traveling and I can tell you that this place has the best Greek food in utah. The owner is Persian. They know their Greek food. It was my first time there. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and I got a table right away. The food was amazing the restaurant was clean and very nicely decorated. This place is going to become one of my regulars. Kudos

Decided to try this place again after years of avoiding it due to a poor experience years ago. Was unfortunately let down again by multiple aspects of the meal, including portion size, flavor, and packaging. For more than $20 got a pretty small portion of food. Flavor was nothing special. Was told on the phone the lemon seasoned fries are delicious and when I got them, there was hardly anything on them, including any salt. And packaging unfortunately the cold salad was placed in the box with the hot rice and chicken and therefore when I got home, I had warm salad and cold chicken and rice. Will not be coming back unfortunately and I wish I could get a refund. The website is a disaster trying to understand anything about the menu. Really confused how this place has such great ratings. I’m a pretty open person and generally give benefit of the doubt, but this place has definitely left me deciding never to come back.

Pork slovaki, yellow rice, potatoes, pita bread and veggies. I’m unable to eat lettuce so I get some tomatoes and cucumbers with the dressing on the side. Delicious

The servings were generous, and the food was delicious.
So far the best Greek Restaurant we’ve been to in Ogden. Delicious and at a great price. The vibe of the restaurant is terrific, it feels very homegrown and you can feel the Ogden Pride.
Staff was friendly and fast!

Took my mother here for dinner, and it was fantastic. It’s a sea shore decore and Weber athletes pic on a wall. The waiter was friendly and the food was super good. Salad was very fresh with lemon rice. The potatoes had a wonder sauce and lemon salt on top of them that you can’t get enough of. We had all sandwiches, Falafel, Gyro, and chicken pita, which were the main show. We all really enjoyed them since they were gone in no time. Great stop for good greek food.

Great food here! I really liked the gyros. Decent amount of meat and good seasoning. The rice was decent and the lamb was tasty. We also had the chicken kabob and it was done well and had great flavor.

Gyros are tiny, and lemon soup was nothing(gross) I’ve had before. I can honestly say I won’t return just because they are nice. Not impressed at all!!

The to-go orders are so much smaller than what they serve you if you dined in and I always tips good for to-go orders. I would love to make the cooks a salad just like they served me with a lot of water which by the time we got home was soggy and wilted lettuce. This is what happens every single time we order a salad to go. Looks like from reading the other reviews that they don’t really care about what the customers think.
