Our favourite place!! The pizza is THE BEST!! The vegan caesar salad and ziti are unreal!! We couldn’t recommend them enough!! 10/10 atmosphere, food and service! They catered our engagement party and we had so many compliments on how good the food was. It means a lot to have vegan options in town, and their food is absolutely AMAZING!! The owner is vegan and so kind!! This restaurant is a staple in Brantford, where the whole family can dine, and constantly getting more vegan options.

Had a lovely dinner here! Great food, friendly staff, good menu selection and the cutest little romantic patio! Our waitress was accommodating and verry friendly. Food was served hot and in good timing. We started with arancini and warm bread, each had a pasta dish and got a slice of cheesecake to go since we were too full to enjoy it there! Also tried a red sangria which i loved. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu and enjoy the patio!

My wife and I enjoyed dinner here a week ago (busy Friday night). The outdoor patio (under a huge canopy of grape vines) was wonderful. Service was attentive and servings were very generous. The only negative was that the bread initially served was under baked (didn’t rise back up when I stuck my finger in ). Yes, a busy night.

We had A team meal here for 40 people 17 players, 18-year-old girls and all of their parents. Our intent was to go to sociable or Chuck’s knowing they could handle a big group. We were thrilled with the result that they were too busy to take us because we would not have stumbled upon Al Dante. They handled our group effectively, the food was incredible and the staff courteous, efficient and very helpful. Highly recommend this restaurant, family dinner, a friend’s night out or a team event! We’ll be back. It was perfect!

My family and I absolutely love this place! It is without a doubt one of the best restaurants we’ve been to in Brantford and surrounding area and it’s one of our go-tos when friends come to visit.
Beyond the food being awesome and portion sizes being generous for the price, we always have great service and great conversations with staff and fellow patrons. Plus, you know it’s a good spot if you see the guys from Strode’s in there!
Fridays and Saturdays are busy, so I’d recommend making a reservation on those nights. Weekdays are less busy so you can likely walk in and grab a table, but the ambiance never suffers.
Everything I’ve had to eat here has been delicious. Bonus points for their new plant-based menu, which I’ve heard is really good as well – if that’s your thing.

If you’re looking for a great Italian meal, this spot is definitely worth considering. Our recent visit was quite pleasant, starting with a nice table on their patio. It was a beautiful July evening, and dining beneath the expansive, overgrown vine added a unique touch to the ambiance. The food was not only good but also very generously portioned; you’ll likely end up with leftovers, as most people seemed to. Add to that a friendly staff and reasonable prices, and it makes for a solid dining experience. We left feeling satisfied and with plenty to take home.

We went there with another couple. Nice little independent Italian restaurant. Good service, nice cozy atmosphere. We had the flat iron peppercorn Fettuccini and the Alfredo Al Dente. You can really taste how fresh the noodles are. Only thing that slightly disappointed us was that the peppercorn Fettuccini, the meat was delicious but the pasta had too much pepper. I guess it’s a matter of personal preference but if you don’t like too peppery, choose something else.

The Spinach salad was excellent! The Caesar salad my husband had was disappointing. There was really no bacon to be found and 4 croutons that were so hard you could easily break a tooth. No offer of freshly grated cheese. My Mediterranean bowl was really a salad. I could not find the roasted chickpeas or hummus. My husband had the Buffalo Pizza and said it was mediocre. The Marinara sauce that you dip your bread in was excellent! Our waitress was very nice.

LOVE the steak and seafood they have here! Appetizers are always excellent as well. I think they’re known for pasta but when your keto / low carb you can eat here if your on a special diet and they will always help modify the meal for you. Staff are friendly, service is great and the chef is excellent
We always stop in for dinner when we’re in Brantford. There’s lots of great options and price points on the menu. Glad we discovered this gem!
