Great outside eating area for summer located close to river. In winter lovely in door restaurant but I find it slightly chilly in winter. Great restaurant, staff and chef. Food lovely. Been a few times and recommended. Nice to go for walk after in tranquil area.

I was looking forward to having a meal here and heard so much about the food. I ordered the lamb chops (medium to well done). When they turned up, they were almost raw, and I could not cut the meat with my knife. Others in my party also had issues stating that the cops were off. They offered a small discount. Poor.

Terribly mediocre food: tough, poor cuts. Food came out fast but grossly understaffed front of house meant service was really slow and it was impossible to get anyone’s attention. Four times we had to go into the restaurant to get service.
If you’re in the adjacent campsite then possibly worth a visit; otherwise, don’t make a detour.
