Three of us ate here early on a Friday evening, arriving while there were still open tables with lovely views of the bay. We were greeted by our server and our orders were taken pretty quickly. At the recommendation of my companions, who had been here many times, I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp Salad. It was amazing!
There was a nice selection of beers on tap, as well as wine and a full bar.
We were there too early for sunset, but the low-angled early evening light was beautiful on the water.
If I lived in this part of the country, I’d be here often!

Insanely good. Actually fresh breaded chicken tenders and fish and chips. Server was super nice. We happen to be the only people eating here. Currently in the middle of flash flooding and are staying across the street, and I hope that’s why this place was empty because top notch food and service

Happy to see Bay Breeze revitalized! Our family enjoyed a wonderful dinner – the Parmesan-crusted rock fish entree was fantastic; fresh and flavorful. Our kids appreciated the kids’ fish and chips and how nicely they were presented. Bay Breeze doesn’t skimp on kids’ portions. Last night we also dined and loved the glazed black cod – innovative and delicious!

Fantastic View! We sat upstairs on their deck. Excellent pour for the red wine. We had the special seared ahi tuna poke served with vegetable rice. So yummy took an order to go as well! Enough to do in Birch Bay to keep everyone engaged/entertained. Went beach combing first, C-Shop then Bay Breeze. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is the only restaurant that is located directly on the beach. There are about four restaurants in Birch Bay, and this one was our favorite. The fish and chips were beer-battered and delicious. You can order one, two, or three pieces, and they are huge.The fries were great, and all the food came out hot. If you’re looking for a good appetizer, the calamari is the best. They also have a great bar. I was pleasantly surprised that Birch Bay had such a great restaurant. You must try it. If you’re looking for a great cocktail, the mermaid water is a great choice.

Wife and I stopped in to have a snack and a drink. 5 beers and a cider on tap. Tasted a couple of Healthy samples, and made our choices. Bartender/Server was personable and had a great attitude. Wife had the chowder, and described it as meaty, perfect consistency, great flavor. Bang Bang Shrimp came with a full salad “bonus”. Wife loved it, cept for tails on shrimp…oh boo hoo. I had the Fettuccine with grilled chicken. Was “menued” as with asparagus and red bell peppers. Made from scratch in the kitchen so asparagus was kept off by request. Chicken was perfectly prepared, peppers were tender and plentiful. Flavor was a delight. The ONLY thing that could have been better was the Alfredo sauce. Was a bit sloppy. I personally like it a bit thicker. Sunset was a perfect dessert! Would definitely eat here again on a Beautiful evening in the future.

For some reason the food tasted better a day after. The pasta was ok when i was eating it there but tasted much better after i took it to go.
The location is prime spot! The view is fantastic and takes are space out.
Service was on the slow side but understandable given the situation we are all in with staff shortages.
Drinks are strong. Maybe too strong but very pleasing to the eye.
Would consider coming back again for that friendly small town ambiance.

Compared to other Birch Bay establishments, Bay Breeze is clean, light, and smells pleasant. Service was spot on and attention to detail was great. Most of all, the kitchen is going well beyond expectations! Ordering the nightly special didn’t disappoint. Most of all, I could order fish n chips with one piece of fish. The coleslaw was seasoned perfectly and the tartar sauce was brilliant (never would’ve expected a jazzed up version that wasn’t a complete departure.) Sorry it took us a couple of nights to find it. Only notes: dim the lights for a relaxed vibe, arrival experience can be upgraded with clear and welcoming signage. Best of luck, we look forward to returning!

Very good fish and chips that had an interesting twist on the chips ive never seen before! Good service and the pricing to amount of food is fair. The fried calamari had a very nice spicy crunch which paired well with the green onions. Beautiful views with a nice breeze through the eating nook! Definitely going back!
