Great place for a good time.
This place has the vibe to enjoy a drink with a bite while enjoying the evening in Downtown Aspen.
The variety of beer available there was commendable and we complimented our beers with Chicken Tempura and a Beef Burger. All the items were delicious and reasonably priced.

Great place to grab a quick bite and some tap beer . Authentic aspen classic spot. Burgers were great and filling. The steak sandwich was small and delicious. Fries were really fresh and crispy. Chairs at rhe high tables are not very comfortable, so if you’re planning on sitting for a while the bar stools or 2 person tables seemed to be more comfortable.

Good food, great alcohol and beer selection (didn’t have any but noticed their extensive selection). Hubby had Ruben, I had salad, kids split chicken sandwich, all split bruschetta. Everything was so good. Wait staff was friendly and could eat inside or out. It’s in a historic building, which is cool too.

The Aspen Public House is one of our favorite watering holes in downtown Aspen. This place also has very good food. We thought the bar area was beautiful, they have one of the finest top shelf spirits selection we have ever seen anywhere. A must visit apres experience in downtown Aspen. Highly recommended!

I came here last night with my wife and it did not disappoint. The shishito peppers were an excellent starter. I definitely enjoyed the trout as well. I was highly impressed by the whole section of different variations of an old fashioned and they did not disappoint. Only putting as a four star because my wife’s salad came with chicken- which was a bit dry, but overall was a wonderful choice for a reasonably priced dinner in Aspen.

The food is fine for overpriced bar food. Of course the price was expected in Aspen. When the bill arrived it was $171 for a Rueben, 4oz burger, a chicken sandwich and two steak sandwiches. Also four beers and one whiskey. No problem with that. I used my debit card. I removed the automatic tip on my card and tipped what I feel was a generous $45.00 cash. They processed my card for $194.63 evidently adding back the tip… and NO, it did not say that gratuity was included on the bill. So evidently I tipped nearly $70. Unreal!
