Very standard, great beef
It’s not paper thin but thick enough to have a good chew through.
Very balanced flavors, nothing standing out over the other flavors.
Roll held up extraordinarily well for dipped juiciness.
Looks like a classic Chicago spot, great staff and service.
Fries smell divine and were delicious!
No left turn into the business from Westbound Roosevelt. Just be aware.

Went in an hour before close. We were greeted with a pleasant voice and helpful attitude. The chicken salad was delicious, very fresh and full of flavor. Keep it up!

I didn’t have any expectations before we tried Donald’s, but after, I felt a little disappointed. I ordered the chicken Greek salad and my hubby ordered the Italian beef. The salad looked delicious, but I had to deconstruct and reconstruct the salad in order to enjoy it. There was a mound of onions, pits still in the olives (that I did choke on), big chunks of cheese and peppers. The chicken was seasoned well though. The lemonade could have used more flavor, it tasted watered down. My husband enjoyed his sandwich, I just wish my experience was all positive as well.

Can’t say enough about the food and service. Working close by, I was hoping for a decent fast mom and pop food stand. Donald’s is definitely it. EVERYTHING I’ve had has hit the spot. Will continue to go there as long as I’m working in that area. The food is great and the staff is super friendly.

Customer service was great but I can’t say the same for the Italian Beef I ordered. The meat was unflavored and tough with an old taste to it. The only thing that had flavor and tasted fresh was the fries. ♀️

The food is really good and reasonably priced. The building looks a little old and isn’t in the best of locations. This is most likely the only reason the place isn’t super packed every day. Im on a mission to try and italian beef at every single place i possibly can. The italian beed here is good. Honestly its a bit hard to tell them apart. I give it an 8 out of 10. Only because i never had a 10 and can only think of one 9. . If i get cheese i like it on top of the beef not down in the bun. Over all i like this place and will return. Thanks.

I’ve asked them multiple times to WEAR GLOVES.The customers can see you & it’s disgusting. I watched this man make my beef with his bare hands and proceeded to clean with a dirty rag. It’s a shame because the food is good but I can never go back.
