Didn’t have Friday night dinner plans and a burger sounded just right. Walking in, I didn’t know what to expect really. The cashier was kind and didn’t rush us looking over the menu. The ordering was easy with multiple options: pre-order, on-site screens, and the ol’ fashion in person way. We got two regular cheeseburgers, regular fry, sweet potato fry, and ranch! The burgers were a good size and tasted pretty good! There was a distinct flavor I can’t really pin down but has a “special sauce” kind of feel. The regular fry was crispy and a small was certainly enough per person. The sweet potato fries are usually my go to, but i don’t think they were worth the 2$ up charge from a regular. Still good, but just didn’t hit the same as the regular fry. Overall, i’d go back again for another night I didn’t have dinner plans but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Wow!! After the new owner, the burger size is bigger and the patty is thick and so juicy and delicious!!!! Sauce is really good!!
The new owners were very kind and the service was great. and the interior of the restaurant has completely changed. the floor of this restaurant was newly replaced and they paid attention to the cleanliness of the restaurant, making it much cleaner than before.
I’m going to eat hamburgers only here from now on. I strongly recommend this place!!!!

I have enjoyed burgers here in the past but today was the final time. First you cannot order from a person but a kiosk in the corner with prices that have recently been raised yet again. Prices have doubled in last five years. I could deal with that if they hadn’t also shrunk the burger and fish patty as well as overcooked it. My fries were also extremely stingy. Honestly I would have made the 14 minute drive back to the restaurant for a refund if they actually still had a person and register. Is that why the removed the humanity from the order process so customers do not have any way to ask for a refund for lousy food?

I want to give this place 5 stars because I feel like it has a lot of potential. But I would realistically give it 2 stars at its current state but don’t want to hurt their reputation with giving them that low of a score. Basically, I felt it was a little overpriced. Including tip it was over 18 dollars for a cheeseburger and medium drink. The ingredients were very fresh which I loved. The service was prompt and kind. I only waited for maybe 5 minutes for my food with being second in line. However I felt like the burger didn’t have much added flavor, I felt like they let the ingredients do the heavy lifting which is refreshing in its own way, but it reminded me of a burger that we make at home on the BBQ. Which to some that may be an excellent thing! I also wouldn’t eat inside which is where I feel most disappointed. It was cramped and had maintenance supplies out which didn’t feel appropriate. I feel like this place needs some picnic tables outside possibly but not sure there’s room for it with the parking lot. I’d try again but also don’t know that I’d recommend it compared to other options in the area.

Scooter’s is a burger shop that’s been in Ballard for a long time. They’re a couple of blocks off Market so relatively easy to get to. There is a parking lot here which usually has enough spots available. They have a few tables and bar top seating inside with a couple of tables outside as well. Their menu is a good size, recently adding breakfast as well. Their prices are very high for the portion size you get, and the food is OK but nothing too great. The service here is good, they’re always really friendly. Overall, not my first choice to go to for burgers in the area and unfortunately since it’s so expensive here, I don’t think it’ll ever make the list of places of “need to go” to.

I had a cheeseburger. My friend had the fish and cheese sandwich. Both of us had the coffee Milkshake. We were hungry. It was open. We both ate and neither had a complaint. The service was kind:)

Maybe at some time in the past this might of been a great greasy spoon drive in burger place but what a let down it was.
Nothing is fresh or remotely char-grilled about this burger. It lacks personality and is the void what burgers should be. Truly the ingredients taste as if you bought them at Costco and prepared them at their restaurant. On top of it all, it wasn’t even reasonably priced for what it’s worth. The only saving grace for the food was the size. If portions are your thing and don’t care anout flavor this is your place.
The place is dilapidated and need of a serious face lift. Do yourself a favor and head to Burb burgers just a few blocks away

Huge Burger, well prepared, lots of options. Really enjoyed it. I wish the lettuce didn’t get soggy. Overall though it was a very tasty burger, good service, easy parking, easy quick food.
