My first time here. I ordered a chicken basil. Food was extra spicy when I ordered it hot not knowing how hot it was going to be. Rice came with it and the white rice was really dry and the chicken was tough to eat it. Also ordered side dishes and it pretty much matched as other dishes. I paid cash for my bill because now days they charge service charges if you are using a credit card which should be paid by the owner of this restaurant. Everyone should pay attention these days because they all seem to sneak in service charges if you are paying with CC.

The place is more on the expensive side, but the food is good. We had ordered Basil Chicken, Ally Rolls both of which were a little too sweet for our taste. I also ordered the Miso Soup which I loved. The service was fast, and the place looked nice and neat. We would like to go in for dinner , and order more off the menu. I am adding the updated menu here, because the prices I saw before going there looked different from what was in the menu.

Went to Mora for Valentine’s Day. The food was good, sushi was okay, and the service was nice. However, I had reserved two seats at the bar, but when we arrived, they gave us a small table in the middle of the hallway. It was very uncomfortable, with people constantly brushing past us.
Another issue was the bill – our total was $143.22, but paying with a card added a 4% fee. Card processing fees are a business expense and should not be passed on to customers.
Also, the tip percentage is calculated based on the total, including tax and the card fee, which doesn’t seem fair.
Good food and service, but the seating arrangement and extra charges took away from the experience.

Enjoyable experience. The food is of good quality and tastes good. Service was outstanding by our waitress and the bar staff that also delivered drinks. The edamame was unusually very good with the way it was cooked to the salt added for taste. The sushi rolls were good but varies at the table mostly due to individual preference.
The drinks were decent but the reason for taking off a star on the food category. The red wine serving seemed kid sized. The sake was way overpriced. The beer was fine.
Other than the drinks, all else was fine. The most noteable things to mention were the service and the decor/atmosphere if the restaurant. Good vibes!
The Mochi for dessert was served in a boat and was very good!

Honestly, I probably had my expectations set too high for this place. The service was disappointing, starting with the waiter’s attitude. The sushi wasn’t tasty or generous in size, and the “hot” rolls arrived barely warm. I don’t know… probably just a one-time deal for me.

This is hands down my kids’ favorite spot for dinner celebrations whether it’s celebrating a birthday or a day that ends in Y! The staff is amazing. They have my boys’ favorites memorized and when they bring it out on a Sushi Boat it makes them smile from ear to ear. The cocktails are fresh and delicious, the saki (sp?) is on point, and the overall atmosphere of this restaurant’s charm is nothing short of beautiful

The ambiance in this restaurant and the decorations are beautiful! It looks very high class and everything is gorgeous. Now service is not so great. We came before the rush, got seated and waited a good amount of time before a server came by to just bring us water. We asked to order but she said she needs a minute and went to a table that got seated after us and took their food order first. Then we waited another good amount of time to order our food. Someone else brought our food and our server never came back to check on us. We just got our check at the end.
Side note, their menu states Pepsi products but they serve Coke products.
I have had better sushi. The sushi is very mediocre but expected for that price.

Great place located in Downtown Plainfield. Friendly staff….great ambiance…GREAT FOOD! Enjoyed some deliciously made Cocktails. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend the pork belly and Korean wings!
