Very friendly staff, very quick service. Food was hot and fresh and restaurant was very clean. Staff even checked on us and asked how we were enjoying our meal. We usually go to Benton location because it’s closer to home but with this amazing service we will be frequenting mt Vernon from here on out.

I will never return to this place. The lady that was taking my order was so rude. I asked her if I could get 2 8pc buckets for $10. She told me she could only sell me one. I asked if I could wait for more chicken she came back and said ” I can only sell you one bucket of chicken. The whole time she is still being rude. Then she said it will be 35 mins. I said thats fine I’ll wait. She acted like it was a big deal for me to be there. So I drove off waited the 35 mins. Came back to the same lady rude I was scared to ask for a second bucket of chicken. So I ordered my food and asked about biscuits she got a attitude again so then I asked her about the second bucket she was out of chicken again after I waited the 35mins she said we got the original chicken. I said fine I guess that will have to do! I get to the drive thru window this lady then trys to be some what nice. She hands me my food tells me have a goodnight. I said i would like my receipt she got an attitude again. I said is your name on the receipt she said no the drawers are not in my name. I said well whats your name and she said Kasha. Which thats the name on the receipt so i dont know if thats her name or not. All i know who ever was taking my order and handed me my food was very rude. I got all the way home to old chicken that looked like it was double dipped in oil! I got the receipt to look at it and to find out how to make a complaint and this lady rounded my change up. I never agree for her to do that i know it was only .56 cent but dang if the service and food was good it would be different but wow the service and the way I was treated was wrong. I spent 52.00 for old nasty food and bad service!

The pictures tell everything. The third pic is what I was supposed to get lol. Not even close. And this was at 4pm in the afternoon. They were not busy. I didn’t check them before I left and drove 12 miles home before I realized what they had given me. This was $8 too. Never again. The lady at the front was very poor too. Not friendly at all.

11/12/25 -I ordered a fresh 16 piece family meal. Waited 25 minutes (which wasn’t the biggest problem for fresh chicken). ONCE i got home and opened the bucket of chicken all the skin was off the majority of the chicken. I took the chicken out to try and salvage any of the skin that I could. Only to discover lots of grease in the bottom of the bucket.
The containers of sides were only half-filled. They had run completely out of green beans.
The fruit punch was yellow. It looked and tasted like lemonade.
Other customers seemed irritated about missing order items etc…

Hot,fresh,ready the people were very welcoming and nice and they got my food out fast and ready as my chicken sandwich was done and ready as it was fresh and crispy as the atmosphere was amazing there as I felt like I was at a friend’s house

My father wanted me to write this review so here I am . He went to KFC about 2 hours ago and he said he will never go there again. The chicken he and I tried was so old tasting it was like it had sat out all day . It was the worst and oldest tasting chicken I have had in a very long time. I thought places like this couldn’t let the food sit out all day and then try and sell it ?

After driving nine hours to finally get to my hotel room, I decided to treat myself to KFC spicy wings. I ordered the meal, but when I got back and opened it up, I was only able to eat two of the six wings — they were hard as a rock. The potato wedges weren’t any better; I could barely chew one. Honestly, I might just save the rest of the wedges as a backup weapon while traveling across the country, because they’d make a better shank than a side dish.

Definitely disappointing after a long day on the road.
