What a find. We stopped in around 1:30 on a cold Saturday afternoon. We were greeted and seated right away. My wife had the mushroom risotto. For me it was the salmon with a side of brussel sprouts. The bread was steamy hot…delightful. The food was hot and amazingly good…far better than we expected. The experience was a happy surprise and will be a definite repeat for us.

We went to La Fontana last night. Our first time. We were pleasantly greeted and took us in right on time. They had a nice ambience. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. What ever we ordered was well made, having been to Italy several times, it was truly authentic. We loved it. Overall a nice neighborhood restaurant.

Really lovely authentic Italian restaurant in the Rittenhouse square area. This was one of the **best tiramisus** I have ever had! My husband truly enjoyed his chicken frances. I found the fettuccine to be delicious, but a bit too light on the sauce. Note that they are BYOB.

A great classic Italian restaurant in the city with excellent service. I especially enjoyed their mussels and affogato. They also take part in Restaurant Week, so it’s the perfect time to check them out if you haven’t.

We went for a birthday dinner few years ago. I believe it was during restaurant week. So we had the 3 course meal. The mussels were really good. I liked the sampler and getting to try 3 different pastas. Now the veal i personally didn’t like but to be fair it was my first time ever having veal. I think the texture and taste just doesn’t do it for me. But the restaurant is a cute little corner spot, clean, definitely authentic Italian cuisine. I would definitely go again and try some other menu items.

Food tasted bright, fresh, and full of flavor. Servers were kind and attentive. There was a large party, folks on a date, and friend dinners while I was there and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Felt lively and but not so loud that you had to shout across the table. Would recommend for a splitting a bottle of wine over a great meal with someone whose company you enjoy.

My friends and I decided on this restaurant for the first time for restaurant week dinner menu. $60 per person. This includes an appetizer, an entree and a dessert. This is a byob spot. It was tightly packed, with not a lot space to move at the tables. The food was yummy, although portions are small. I had the Caesar salad, the gnocchi, and the tiramisu cake. Im not sure why my friends got a plated dessert and mine came in a to go box. Maybe they ran out of plates. Lol. It was very busy. Our server took an awhile to come over to the table. It seemed to be understaffed for such a busy night.The atmosphere was very loud, my ears were ringing, but overall we enjoyed our time there.
