Just went here for the 2nd time and the food was excellent. No rush to get food out and we enjoyed Chefs choice of the day. Very relaxing time reminded me of our visit to Firenza,Italy. We ,Americans are always rushing. I thought it was an authentic Italian restaurant experience. I recommend it as a treat from time to time. They do have coupons in the Yucaipa Magazine, but I did not. Dress seemed more casual this second time which we prefer.

Loved the new Yucaipa location! Went for an early Valentine’s celebration and was please to find a romantic atmosphere and wonderful service. The food was excellent and I was happy to see the menu was still the same (why mess with perfection!) Isabella’s remains a favorite for upscale Italian food.

Went there for a B’day celebration. (not our choice of location) There were 4 in our party. We were seated promptly but then waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order. The salad/soups were served promptly. The salads were just a plate of mixed lettuce and the soup was a bowl of hot water. No flavor at all and little substance. The dirty dishes sat on our table for over 10 minutes before being cleared. Then we waited and waited. The entees were finally served and they were not worth waiting for. The meat in my wife’s lasagna was tough and grisly. She could not finish it. The chicken in my pasta vodka was cold. Not warm, cold as if it was just taken out of the refrigerator and thrown in the dish. In fact it chilled any pasta it touched. (Bertolli frozen chicken & pasta in vodka sauce is a lot better – and cheaper) Taking in consideration the poor service and poor food, we are not likely to return.

We wanted dinner in town after work so we walked in here & greeted the older female host. She promptly asked “what’s the name of the reservation?”. With it being our first time there I apologized as I was unaware we needed one. To which she said “Oh so you don’t have one”. It was off putting to say the least, not welcoming at all.
We were seated and waited like almost 20 mins for us to be attended but table next to us was asked “how are we doing?” three times. Then Chris (really nice waiter) asked if we had been taken care of. We said no and he apologized and said “I will take you as mine”.
We definitely did not feel welcome, we had unintentionally gone under dressed since we just ended our work shifts and were starving. Not sure if that gave off a bad first impression on our part or something but are respectful paying customers.
I will say though, the waiter Chris was very kind and joyous & managed to salvage the rest of the dinner for us.
When it was time to pay, the original server came RIGHT AWAY lol. It was crazy.
Tables are too close, server has to fit in between tables and the server’s behind is unintentionally facing you as you eat.
There is only 1 unisex restroom.
Will not visit this place again.

My 1st time eating at Isabellas Trattoria. I was impressed with the greeting/hospitality when entering. I’m really into pesto. Their creamy pesto sauce was amazing. Our server was knowledgeable and observant. The atmosphere felt quaint. I spent less money at this upscale eatery than going to a fast food establishment. I will definitely be back.

Ordered food for pick up. Specifically asked the total before going in and the price magically increased 18% upon arrival. No, it wasnt an added tip. This is the second time this has happened here and its a shame they are scam artists because their food is pretty good for this area. I am never going back after my many times patronizing this restaurant. The constant pricing inconsistencies is unacceptable and makes you feel very taken advantage of. I even called back and spoke with the manager! She was unconcerned with the issue and did nothing to rectify it. Embarrassment of an establishment.

The food is great but I called at 7:15 on Sunday evening to place an order for pick up and the kitchen was closed? This is the 2nd time this happens. A restaurant closing this early on a Sunday evening is unheard of. Losing tons of business this way. Very unhappy about this

I finally got a chance to eat here for the first time today, and I was really happy with the quality, service, and overall price. The pasta was rich and cooked just right, and the Cabernet was very good and not overpriced. My only complaint is the house salad is a little basic with just lettuce and dressing. You can tell it is a converted coffee shop, but they did a good job with the decor and overall atmosphere. I plan on returning and will recommend to friends!

I am so excited that Isabella’s is open here in Yucaipa. They have some of the best pasta dishes in the inland empire. They have a sister store that is in Redlands as well. I ate here for the lunch menu. The new build out is very intimate and was very well done. Smaller space so make sure you check it out before wait times get too long!!
Our waitress was amazing and the staff greeted us so warmly when we arrived and left. I love the penne vodka and add chicken to it. My wife had the homemade gnocchi and also loved it.

First off I want to start by saying that I have been wanting to go eat at this place for a while. I went previously, however it does not open till 430PM. So this Friday we planned out dinner and decided to go. I will say that the waitress was nice and did a good job. I ordered the Calimari to start. We ordered 2 kids portions of spaghetti with meat sauce for the boys. My mother in law got the pork chop special. And my wife and I decided to share the Ravioli plate. The Calimari was breaded lightly and cooked just right. However, the portion we received was very small. Not enough to share with friends or family. It would be suited as a single serving for one person leaving you wanting more. No drinks, just water and my son had an apple juice. The kids portion spaghetti plate was a very large portion. Big enough for 2 adults to share and it was only $10.95 each. The $34.95 pork chop special was huge as well and easily feeds 2 people. The $23.95 ravioli plate that I had to pay an additional fee to share of $8.95 ($32.90) however that was split in 2 was barely enough to feed 1 person let alone split between 2 adults. I believe I had a total of 4 medium sized raviolis. The flavor was ok and nothing special to write home about. Also I had previously seen pictures of the salads. My dinner salad was very basic romaine with dressing. The server brought over some graded cheese on a small bowl. The other waitress had a cheese grader and was grading cheese for other patrons. I’m not sure why they offer 2 types of dining experiences. After eating my small salad and the couple raviolis I had. My wife and I ended up sharing my youngest spaghetti plate with him. All in all with the tip included I spent $140.00.
If you’re looking for a place to take the family out to eat don’t go here. The one part that I thought was a bit rude was that half way through our dinner a female staff member who was not our server and not the hostess came by and asked if we’re ready for them to place our food in to go boxes. The ambiance was stuffy at best. If you want to take your family to a Italian restaurant and have more of family friendly environment, go to Bepo, or even olive garden. The portions, flavors, service and price point would be a lot better.
