Shuckin’ Shack Oyster Bar grew out of a vision for a local establishment that would appeal to families of all ages. A place where friends and family can enjoy a great meal of primarily Oysters and Shrimp, but we’re more than just a seafood restaurant, we serve up fresh, delicious meals and creative cocktails in an environment that exudes relaxation. We cater to locals and tourists, providing them a place to enjoy a good time and watch a sporting event on big screens while taking in some of the local history. Many people have passed in and out of our doors enjoying succulent local oysters and shrimp, shared local fishing or surfing stories and spent time just talking about the friendly beach comber atmosphere inside.

Shuckin’ Shak Oysters is hands down one of the best seafood spots I’ve ever been to! The oysters are incredibly fresh and perfectly shucked — you can really taste the ocean in every bite. Whether you like them raw or with their delicious sauces, they never disappoint. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, making great recommendations that really enhanced the experience. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, perfect for both casual outings and special occasions. If you love oysters or just great seafood in general, this place is a must-try. Highly recommend!

This place is INCREDIBLE. Never had a bad meal here. I have never had oysters but love to try new things. The shots are super unique and a fun way to try oysters. So while I figured out I don’t like them, everything else is top notch. Seafood is always perfectly cooked, even Pappadeux’s doesn’t do it this good!! Oh and Kate, the waitress, is literally the best server I’ve ever had anywhere. She’s awesome. Seriously, go eat there now..you won’t be sorry

We stumbled across this place while trying to pass some time and we were very pleased with our discovery! Our server Michelle was amazing! Not only was she very nice and helpful, she was juggling multiple tasks and doing it with ease!! The food is above average compared to other chain type restaurants, and the Clam Chowder is some of the best you can get! If you’re in the area and craving some seafood, we definitely recommend you check this restaurant out!!

She took the time to ask about my taste preferences and then crafted a specialty cocktail that was absolutely perfect — balanced, creative, and exactly what I was looking for.
On top of the food and service, the rooftop patio with EDM beats and an alleyway DJ made the whole night feel like a beach party tucked into downtown Alpharetta. The energy was contagious, the vibes were great, and it’s the perfect place to kick back with friends.
Between the food, drinks, music, and outstanding service, Shuckin’ Shack is the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to.

Great food, cocktails & service. Aisha was an excellent bartender and very attentive. The owner, Michael, was very friendly. Fast service with great food. Everything was fresh & perfectly cooked. Great prices. Nice outdoor patio. We liked it so much we came twice (to try different daily specials). Our only complaint is the chairs outside are uncomfortable & parking can be limited. The girl in front of us was small, and you could see the chairs were cutting into her hips too.

Great atmosphere, large screen TVs to watch Saturday games. Waitress was friendly & great. Get the oysters & chowder. Sandwiches were OK. Calamari was good. Saw next table ordered the fish & chip. Next time. They have daily specials – Wednesday is $1.50 oysters raw or steamed, $2 chargrilled oysters with toppings.

I thought about if I wanted to post this review but at the end decided I would. I get a bit frustrated when I choose to order food out and find the restaurant idea of hygiene/or how they handle and display food is less than stellar. When I get food and the bag has hair on it, I quickly think what potentially might my food have on it. Just totally turned off at this point. Yes, I ordered the fish and chips and was handed a bag with hair on it. While the lady took that bag and said she clearly saw the hair, she said she would remake it. Well, at this point I am done and would not be able to eat even if it was remade. Lost my appetite. What I wish she had offered was to refund my money and tip! I walked out and left without getting my meal nor money back. While I believe this restaurant may be a good place to eat, for me, once I see hair, I just totally loose my appetite. I am writing this review based on my experience and nothing more. I think they need to be more careful in the kitchen and take precaution to ensure loose hair isn’t flying around and getting near the food. Take this as an opportunity to perhaps make some changes.

We have been here about 5 times. This time we were celebrating my son’s birthdays. The food was pretty good, as usual. However, our server, whom we have had 2-3 times, just doesn’t seem very happy to be there. She isn’t very friendly and we will ask for someone else next time. Also, beach music has been playing the last few times, but yesterday it wasn’t. The beachy vibe is one of the things we like most about Shuckin’ Shack!

From the outside, Shuckin Shack looked like an ordinary restaurant but I’m glad that I decided to give it a try. Wow, their “breaded wings” were off the charts and the “steakburger” was mouthwatering. I did not take advantage of their Oysters, but will next time.
If you are a Wings lover, then you must try their savory wings. And surprisingly, there prices for meals were not bad!
