I ordered two burgers. One with cheese and one without. When we got the order, neither burger had cheese on it even though I paid for it. That alone was frustrating, but it got worse when we realized the toppings were completely mixed up. I ordered mushrooms and green peppers on one burger and received a single mushroom, and the green peppers were placed on the wrong burger entirely. On top of that, the bread was extremely soggy for some reason, which made the burgers uncomfortable to eat. The burgers were also barely put together in the foil and looked like they had just been thrown together without any care. This has never happened before when I have ordered from here.
I called the store to ask for a refund on the burgers since the order was genuinely incorrect. My mom is actually allergic to green peppers and almost bit into one because they were placed on the wrong burger. The person at the store told me they could not do anything because it was a mobile order. They did not offer to remake the food, have me bring it back, or offer any solution at all.
So I followed their suggestion and called the customer service line for Five Guys. Unfortunately, the person I spoke to there was also rude. I understand they need to confirm the issue with the store before processing anything, but the way the situation was handled made it feel like no one cared about the problem.
I am only asking for a refund on the burgers since they were made incorrectly. The fries were fine, and I am not trying to get anything extra or take advantage of the situation. This was just a really unpleasant experience, and I honestly regret suggesting this place to my mom today.
Poor service, unprofessional, and a waste of my money.
