Great looking Tavern converted from and old schoolhouse. Atmosphere and decor was spot on. I had a blackberry sage cider. I was not too keen on the taste. Sage was a bit strong. Our dinner was phenomenal and beautiful presentation. I had some type of beef stroganoff. The meat was melting in my mouth. Sorry forgot the name. And my wife had a pasta dish. The spaghetti noodle were huge! Never seen noodles like that, but really good. Sorry again for the name. Their menus are not updated online. And for desert I had carrot cake. I was not impressed with that, it was not moist.

We had an amazing time! We were in Chelan for work and stopped at this amazing place. This is our second time eating here. Live music both times. Great food. Great atmosphere! What a great place to come and enjoy food, amazing drinks ,meet friends, and enjoy good music!
They do have a ramp for disabled people. We travel with Tommy who is pretty disabled but we were able to use the ramp just fine to get inside.

My husband and I had dinner here and had such a lovely experience. We sat at the bar and started with great drinks. Prepared well and presented well – both were old fashineds. One was the Breakfast Club. Yum!! We followed this with half BLT salads. Home run again. Then one of us had the Columbia River steelhead and the other had the crispy pork roulade the steelhead was delicious. The pork was good but not my very favorite. The carrot puree was delicious and a great pairing!

I wish you could taste this food and sip this cocktail right now. The most tender and delicious braised short rib. I cannot get over the service, the music, the environment.
You simply must make your way to Lakeside Tavern. We were lucky enough to snag seats at the bar tonight when we forgot to make reservations.

My rating is not 5 stars because service was extremely slow, but very kind and friendly people. Given it is a new place and are not fully staffed I am just taking one star.
The food was great, although the Thai wings were not a favorite. The burgers and sandwiches were really good. The fries are fantastic, real potatoes and crispy. They serve Sigillio wines, which is a plus. We also had the basque cheese cake which was pretty good too (it is one of my favorite desserts and we had to try it here$.
The place is very cool, with really good decor and ambience. They have a stage ready for live music. We’ll give it another chance for sure.
Totally recommend it but go with patience until they are fully staffed.

Chef Austin and Chef Justin never cease to amaze! We have been obsessed with Austin’s cooking for years, getting to enjoy it at a few catered dinners, but we are beyond excited that he and Justin opened a restaurant that we can now enjoy all the time! The Lakeside Tavern just opened two days ago and they didn’t miss on a single thing. Elevated, gourmet food and cocktails, fun and modern but still eclectic decor, and the best part… Austin’s at the bar serving up the most delicious and beautiful cocktails, so we get to see his face! We had the deviled eggs, cucumber salad, and brunch burger, and every single thing was delicious! The burgers are 2 to 1 beef chuck and bacon and man… unreal flavor and the perfect unexpected lil crunch! We tried a few of the cocktails: “Yes, Tuscan Drink Before Noon,” the “Another Brick in the Wall” (take on a sour), “The Breakfast Club” (take on an Old Fashioned). All so dang good! I’m not even a Gin lover and the first one is a gin drink with FRUIT LOOP syrup. So good!!! Cannot recommend enough! Just go. Open Wednesday to Sunday (lunch and dinner Wednesday-Friday and brunch 10-2 Sundays). Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Kinda sad about the food – last time we were there the deviled eggs and burgers were great! This time burgers were great, but the salads were very average – the Caesar salad had oversized leaves and the beet salad had giant unseasoned pieces of beets. The size was great for a full size. The dessert was just brutal! The carrot cake was the worst we ever tasted! The drinks were great and the service was excellent!

Definitely one of the BEST restaurants in Chelan! We stopped here the day after our wedding and Austin the owner/bartender created us with great energy and made some killer creative cocktails.
The food was amazing!! Amazing presentation, local touches, and even better tasting. We ordered the ribeye special and devoured it.
If you are looking for a date night spot near the lake with amazing cocktails and food that is actually worth the price… this is your spot!
Thanks again for the great service!

Great experience! We sat at the bar, two of us. We started with an appetizer of burrata and a pair of the cutest, tastiest cocktails. Dinner was a tavern burger and fries. Left full and very happy with the service and food. Can’t wait to go back and support this new gem.

You only get one chance to make a good first impression, and the team at Lakeside Tavern missed that mark.
Starting with the pros:
• Atmosphere was amazing! Fantastic music, the vibe was banging, and the energy was flowing.
• The drinks were on point! Every drink had its own flavor profile with tons of different options ranging from canned beer, craft cocktails to mocktails, and family-friendly drinks.
• The dining area was big with plenty of seats with silverware that worked well with the dishes
• Plenty of parking!
The cons:
• Slow service. Due to this being a new restaurant, it seems like they aren’t established well enough yet to get the tables turned over fast enough for the crow. Additionally, the waitress took a bit too long when it came to either checking in on us or delivering the que’d up drinks.
• The food. I had the steelhead hash coming in at just about $26, which is slightly high, honestly, for the quality of food that was served. The fish was dry, the potatoes were under seasoned and felt reheated (but were perfectly cut), and the asparagus was both overcooked and under seasoned. Additionally, the bell peppers that were served were placed under the steelhead. With such a beautiful array of color available to the dish, having the bell peppers diced and thrown into the potatoes woildve been the smarter route to go. Lastly, why wasn’t an egg served with the hash? It would’ve added a level of complexity that the dish was so craving.
Overall:
Drinks receives a 4.8 out of 5
The atmosphere receives a 5.0 out of 5
The food receives a 2.3 out of 5
Would i go back? Yes because everywhere should receive a second chance, but ill be going in with reservations.
