Was visiting for business and tried this restaurant since it was connected to my hotel/airport. It was of great convenience while waiting for my flight. The first night I went I ordered a salmon chaser, added bacon, and onions. It was the best salad I have tasted in a LONG TIME! The next day I ordered the steak and it was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. My sides were very starchy with Mac and mashed potatoes but it was worth the calories!

Not bad for where it is, but could be better. The service was great and the staff was friendly. The tater tots in the totchos were crispy and for the most part the food was good. To add something more to that dish, some pulled pork would go a long way. It is the south after all. The bourbon pecan pie was a little on the light side for the price and there wasn’t much bourbon flavor to it. But for a normal pecan pie it was decent but tasted more like it came from Sara Lee than from scratch.

Great little bar. Ribeye with mashed potatoes was excellent. Shout out to Glenn for taking care of us. Cheap for airport food.

Takes a whole hour to get food, I ate at 8pm last night and woke up at 2:30 am full on food poisoning. The food was room temperature by the time it came to the table but I was starving so I ate anyway, I had to take today off so there went a large sum of money. I was here back on 11/15/24 and left sick as well. Avoid this place, go hungry or DoorDash. Pic for proof.

This was a warm welcome to an early arrival. Staff was extremely friendly. Had biscuits and gravy and was not disappointed one bit. Sat for about 2 hours waiting on other travel issues and the staff told me to take all the time I needed and kept the coffee flowing! Quite a few breakfast options and if I am ever back in Huntsville again I will make sure to go before I leave the airport.

Nice place in the airport that is much better than after security. Small menu, but pretty fast and friendly

Date of Visit: July 23, around noon
Location: The Grill, Huntsville International Airport (HSV), AL

Absolutely the worst customer service experience I’ve had at any airport restaurant.

Upon arrival, there was no one at the host stand or bar—just an empty, unwelcoming entrance. After waiting around awkwardly, a bartender finally appeared (name was either Julie or Judy) and managed to make things even worse.

She was unpleasant, dismissive, and completely uninterested in offering any form of service. When I asked about a specific beer, her only response was a cold, condescending “No.” No alternatives, no suggestion, no smile—just complete apathy. It was as if my presence was an inconvenience.

If you don’t want to work in hospitality, stay home. Don’t pretend to offer service while treating guests like a nuisance.

I left feeling unwelcome, insulted, and embarrassed for even walking in. Management should seriously consider who they put on the front lines of customer service—Julie/Judy should be fired immediately. Her attitude is a liability to both the restaurant and the airport.

Avoid this place at all costs.

Good lord the breakfast was terrible here. The place offers a “breakfast buffet” and there’s barely anything available. No eggs made, they gotta be ordered. They got containers that were supposed to have bacon and sausage and they’ve been out for about 30-45 minutes. The grits and potatoes were mostly cold. When the bacon was brought out it was already gone. More people came in and told the server that there wasn’t anything available when they walked in. The fact that it was $16 per person for THIS was egregious. The server was good tho! At a place with a “breakfast buffet” there was no buffet and barely any food available. In terms of other pricing and omelet here would cost about $20. Overall it sucked coming here as a hotel resident.

I had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Sheraton, Huntsville, Airport, and unfortunately chose to take breakfast as my option. Day one I arrived at 9:45 AM, took 10 minutes to be seated, ordered scrambled eggs, thinking it would be the quickest. At 11 AM I was told they were closing and I said I am simply waiting on my eggs. And then the audacity to try to charge me. Day two I arrived and was told this is a buffet I said yes I’m aware and walked into the buffet where there were absolutely zero food items. Trying to charge for a buffet that has no food is criminal.
