This place had some of the best Thai food I have ever had. I was not expecting that of all places it to be a small restaurant in Dublin.

The food was so flavorful and everything was cooked perfectly.

You order your food at the counter and they bring it to you, so keep that in mind if you are looking for a full service place.

I highly reccomend trying their Drunken Noodles they were so good!

We tried Massaman curry, Sesame chicken, and coconut prawn. I’ve never been in Thailand so I cannot tell if they’re authentic or not but I enjoyed everything. I had different Thai curry dishes in other restaurants, I’d say Massaman curry at Thai Basil was very balanced, coconut milk was not heavy and the spice level was just great. Sesame chicken tastes like sweet&sour chicken and it was great
Coconut prawn was good but I won’t have it next time as it didn’t appeal to my taste, it was coated in coconut flakes which made the outer a bit dry. The atmosphere was great and service was quick. In general we definitely liked it, and would consider come again

I honestly don’t know what to say other than that this meal was absolutely divine.
I ordered the vegan pad kee mao and it was so good I completely devoured it. Bold, properly spicy, and packed with flavour. The kind of dish you keep thinking about long after the plate is empty.
For dessert, I went for the mango sticky rice, which was also very well executed.
I also really appreciated that the restaurant offers both classic and vegan versions of so many dishes. It makes the menu feel generous and thoughtful, and it definitely gives me a reason to come back and try much more.
I’ll absolutely be returning.

As Thai person this is a SCAM!! (A CHINESE SCAM) Nothing taste like how it’s supposed to taste. คนไทยห้ามเข้า ปลอมมากคนจีนตั้งแต่พนักงานยันเชฟ bad service. You have to get up to order and pay right away. Do you need chopsticks? Get it yourself. Do want chilli or napkins? Get up. This is a restaurant and not a cafeteria. Never had anything this bad in my life.

This is a before and after picture of us eating.

Edit: As I can’t reply back to your answer here is me replying….. „self service“ should have been written!! The food are very salty you can’t even eat it. Every thing smells and taste like fish sauce, ONLY FISH SAUCE. I recommend you and your team try your own food before serving. Maybe learn how to smile, be polite. It makes bad food a bit better . I also suggest you to try real Thai food once in your life before calling yourself a „THAI RESTAURANT“ maybe you should try „FULL MOON“.

Going vegetarian tonight at Thai Basil. Had their broccoli with garlic, deep fried tofu, veggie spring rolls & Thai green milk tea. I enjoyed all dishes. Servers were very friendly as well.

We had the Vegan Noodles here, and they were tasty with just the right level of spice, paired with fried tofu. The Jasmine Tea was amazing. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.

10/10 flavor, service, everything! We got the fried spring rolls, Thai MAMA Mee, and Pad Kee Mao. Easy to substitute meat preferences, make something vegetarian, and add on all the spice you need. So delicious!

I love this place so much. The food is all amazing, looks better than the pictures, and great flavors! Ready quickly too. Also the teas and drinks are nice and reasonably priced; great value for money. Perfect for lunch and dinner, I’ve been so many times and never had a bad meal.
