Kosher New American fare served in an elegant, loftlike space with a terrace at the Herzog Winery.

Really interesting experience, every dish was unique. Food was really good. We had a 3 course meal and they bring a different/custom wine pairing with each course.
Winter Salad was delightful and the duck Raguu was delicious. Sweet and savory.
A little pricey, but a great experience.
2 people. We had 3 drinks total, 3 courses, steak and lamb shank for main, and ended the night around $450 including tip.

Food was overall good. I personally don’t love mustard seed and it was in almost every dish. Meat was cooked to perfection. The best dish was the cheek. The sorbet was ok. The fig desert was also incredible and very different.

This isn’t our first time dining at Tierra Sur, and it definitely won’t be our last. The food and service are consistently excellent. We started with the potato soup, which was rich and flavorful. For the second course, we tried the seabass tostada and the stuffed carpaccio—both beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. For the third course, we had the ribeye, cooked perfectly and full of flavor.
Every dish feels carefully crafted, with fresh ingredients and a lot of attention to detail. The staff is attentive and friendly, which makes the whole dining experience even better. Tierra Sur is one of those rare places where you know you’ll always get a great meal.

I’ve been here in the past and the food was amazing. However, this time we left quite disappointed. There must be a new chef, and the food is not like it used to be. The menu had a very small, interesting variety. The steak was very dry and not fully cooked after requesting it to be well done, the chicken was partially raw as well.

If you are looking for a high-end unique dining experience, this is the place!
They are also rolling out tours of the winery very soon which look to be a great way to enhance your experience.

Quite disappointing! We’ve been to Tierra Sur in the past and the food was phenomenal. However, the food has taken a steep downturn in terms of taste and quality. The menu was limited. The 8 oz Argentine Steak was hard and tasteless. The salad vegetables were all high quality, but the dressing was too litle and on the bottom of the plate. The dessert, a fig pie, was delicious. While the ambience and service are 5 star, we walked away with a hungry feeling. Not sure if they have a new chef, but we would definitely want to see improvements from the cook before we will return to this establishment.

Amazing place in Middle Oxnard in the winery itself. Very nice building and place with parking. Right off the freeway.
After a nice refreshing salad to start the meal. We ordered the 40 oz. Prime rib which was amazing but too salty, but still we ate it all. They were so nice that they gave us dessert and coffee on the house and a peak into the winery. Definitely coming there again. Staff is great and very accommodating and nice.

Location very nice.
Our host, Sam, was very friendly and explained everything, gave us good recommendations and was there when needed. The Food was perfection. The kitchen crew lead by Chef Austin did an amazing job. It probably the best kosher restaurant i’ve been to.

We visited today and unfortunately a lot of the menu items weren’t available, and due to my peanut allergy I was even more limited since most of what was left was fried in peanut oil. While that was disappointing, our experience was saved by our server, Kayly, who went above and beyond to make sure we still had a great time. She was friendly, attentive, and even treated us to some wonderful wine tastings, which really elevated our visit. Kayly is a true asset to the restaurant, and we greatly appreciated her outstanding service.

We went here for thanksgiving with high hopes based on the reviews. Unfortunately, it was not good. The turkey was very dry and nearly cold (just over room temperature). Another member in my party got the salmon and it was also very overcooked. The sides – apples and carrots were cold, the squash was cold, but the stuffing and mashed potatoes were plenty warm. Then there was the dessert. The apple dessert I chose ended up being thinly sliced apple in a stack with little to no flavor. The whole meal was very disappointing. It was $95 per person and they automatically added a 22% service charge (tip), so with tax is was around $126 per person. I was very very disappointed and will not be back.
