Went to Lorenzo’s as I used to go years ago when they were located in Tempe, and went about 7 years ago to this location.

This was the first time there since moving back to Arizona. All I can say is what a disappointment. The garlic knots are not as good, our waiter came back after 10 minutes telling us he forgot to put in our order and had to retake it on his handheld device.

We ordered 2 pizzas, both were soggy and the middles were completely undercooked with the dough still being raw. Not only did my girlfriend and I let them know the pizza was inedible and not cooked, the waiter took the pizza pieces back that we had not eaten to reheat/recook the pizza. It came back and was still soggy and we asked for a whole new pizza just cheese.

The cheese pizza that came out was good and cooked better, it was not raw dough and the flavor was good.

All in all, very disappointing experience and will not be returning. I don’t know if the original owner sold the business or if something has changed.

The staff did apologize and took off the raw pizza from our bill and did bring a new pizza. I give them credit for making things right, however not an experience I would go back for.

I just got this pizza as pick up since I live in the area. Great tasting, and was cooked just as I ordered. The oregano on a cheese pizza was a nice touch.
The ladies working the restaurant were awesome, they had it running like a Swiss watch! Very sweet and polite.
Definitely got a new customer!!

Had wings. Awesome! Don’t know if I met Lorenzo, but the gent who brought the food (Dave) was nice. Was having a bad day on Father’s Day, so special thanks to the empathetic young lady who took my order. I’m a repeat offender!!!! 🙂

This was my first visit to Lorenzo’s. I ordered a gluten free (12”) pizza, and added 6 items to the basic cheese pizza. It ended up costing about $35, including tax & tip. Unfortunately, it turned out being about the worst pizza I have ever had. The crust was soggy, stuck to the wax paper, and the overall result was totally unsatisfactory. I won’t be going back.

Also, my friends ordered a thick crusted Sicilian. They felt much the same as I did. Too much crust, not much on top. They also won’t be returning

Too bad-lot of money for an inferior product.

I am from the East and this is some legitimate New York style pizza. Maybe the best real pizza in the Valley and definitely top 3. The pizza is made to order if you order an entire pie with fresh, but basic ingredients. The pizza sauce mixes well with the cheese blend and has a robust flavor with a hint of oil. The texture is spot on. The crust is thin as New York style pizza should be. They do not overload the cheese and throw off the flavor balance like many pizza joints tend to do. Simple, but fabulous. The restaurant is clean and they have oregano readily available, which is another telling sign of authentic pizza. Reasonable prices especially at lunch on weekdays. I have been going to this place for years and will continue to do so.

Food is always very good. The delivery process isn’t as easy as I’d like but not any worse than at any other restaurant. I don’t understand the “online platform fee” but Lorenzo’s prices are very reasonable. Portions are huge. I will be back.

It pains me to leave 2 stars but the pizza quality has drastically decreased since being bought out by new owners. I’ve been going to Lorenzo’s since I moved out here from N. Jersey 12 years ago. This was the only place remotely close to NJ/NY pizza. Sadly it turned in to Arizona pizza.

Love this place. Family owned and operated. Very homely place. Great service.

Delicious food. Eggplant parm pizza was the best. Recommend for casual, reasonably priced food.

Enjoyed Pizza, knots, and a beer with my Dad at dinner time on December 28th. Lorenzo’s Team is always friendly and the pizza excellent. Alway good to see Lorenzo, himself, making pizza in the kitchen. I do recommend and will return in the future.
