First time visiting Princess Restaurant and the last time. You can sit where ever you like. We were promptly brought our drinks. Our server came over and took our order. When our meals came out my husband’s order was wrong. Our server never came back and I had to go and find her to let her know he was given the wrong meal. She apologized and took the wrong meal with her. She came back and said his omelete was still on the grill. After a few minutes she brings his meal and it is burnt on the bottom. Needless to say he didn’t eat his omelette. Our server never came back to make sure everything was okay and we had to go find her for the check. Terrible food and terrible service. I really wanted to enjoy Princess Restaurant, but; sadly we won’t be back.

My family and I stopped her for breakfast on our way to Thanksgiving in West Virginia. We always look for the oldest diner or restaurant we can find when in new areas. When we saw they have been around for over 60years we knew this was the spot. From the food to the old scool feel sitting at the counter everything was amazing. Our server was great and even shared a little history about the place. So glad we stopped here, highly recommend 10/10

Stopped in on a road trip expecting a great experience based on most of the reviews. Although the menu was pretty significant, the actual food and service was below average. Waitress was nice enough, but never checked on us and never provided refills or condiments. Kids hotdog with no bun, waitress forgot that the kids meals came with ice cream. Food was bland and lacked imagination. I’m positive that there are better spots to dine in the Frostburg area.

Service was great and the food was excellent. My mom said the Ruben was the best she’s had. We also got dessert!! Cheesecake was good. I got Coconut Cream Pie they say they are famous for. It was ok, not my best but okay.
Overall a wonderful lunch, with great service, at a good price. I will visit again.

I’m always down for an old fashioned diner and this is exactly that in an old narrow, deep, classic “main street” building . Best of Both combo: Eggs over easy, sausage patty, 1 pancake, home fries, and rye toast. All was good but home fries were really good and seasoned well. Service was friendly but seemed a bit under staffed which I think is often true in mom and pop places. Beware, I heard that Breakfast menu ended just after we ordered, around 1100, so not an all day breakfast diner which seemed odd to me. Will definitely go again though.

We visited the Princess Restaurant in mid March 2023. It was wonderful. I had the turkey dinner, very, very good. Great coffee. The grilled broccoli is a can’t miss! Sandy, our server, was great, very friendly! The owner Lauren was there, making delicious homemade Easter chocolates in all shapes and sizes with her grandfather’s candy molds. We took home some of the chocolate peanut butter eggs and chocolate coconut eggs. They were amazing! I highly recommend visiting here when in Frostburg, a perfect small town.

There were three of us that got there around 3:10 in the afternoon. There was one other person in there. Our waitress asked for our drink order in such a way I thought we must be interrupting her lunch or something important. She was the same when she took our order. If we weren’t hungry and hadn’t traveled out of our way to be there we would have left. We ordered a cheeseburger and fries, eggs, sausage and toast, and the baked potato salad. I had the baked potato salad and found it lacking in several ways; the potato had hard spots in it and was only so so tasting. The lettuce was iceberg, some of it a bit old, the rest of the salad was good. The other two meals were fine. It was really not the experience we expected from the reviews. Our waitress lightened up after serving us. Cool looking place but that in our opinion is not enough. We would not return.

Fine pit stop for quick and cheap eats. They have a large menu and seemly nothing was over $10-12. Came with a group of 5 of us and it was under $50. The food itself was nothing really special but nothing stood out as being bad. I personally had the chicken salad BLT and seasoned fries were solid. In a good location in Frostberg and has an interesting ambiance and historical connection with the visit from President Truman. – BJ

Our breakfast arrived perfectly cooked and presented beautifully. The service is on standard for a good diner. The only complaint that I have is the coffee isn’t very good. This is a diner frequented by locals and a must visit while in town.
