I had the most amazing and welcoming experience at mi Veracruz restaurant. I had the privilege of having Kevin as my waiter & he did not disappoint one bit. Kevin was so welcoming, friendly, kind & so great at his job. As soon as I was seated; Kevin immediately had the chips & salsa and napkins ready to go, & asked if I wanted anything to drink. Usually when I go to restaurants I have to wait a long while for a waiter to come bring me extra napkins or take my drink order, so I was impressed. The restaurant was playing some beautiful Spanish music and the staff was all so friendly and welcoming. Kevin made me the most delicious margaritas, I got a mango margarita and a peach margarita and they were so delicious and perfectly made. The mango & peach margaritas tasted like the actual fruit & the amount of alcohol was perfect measured. Although Kevin had other tables he has to attend, he always ensured to check on me and asked if I needed anything which is so enlightening. When you go to a restaurant you can usually tell who loves their job and who doesn’t by the way they treat you as a customer, and Kevin loves his job. Although, he was moving up and down nonstop bringing orders out, making drinks, cleaning; he still managed to make me feel like a customer who was truly welcomed and continued to check in if I needed anything else. I got this s fajita quesadilla and it was so delicious I definitely will be reordering this same meal. Mi Veracruz restaurant is a beautiful place to go to, the food is great, the drinks are top tier, the a environment is so welcoming and when you get the privilege to get a waiter like Kevin you will have the best experience. I left this restaurant with a huge smile on my face. I will definitely be coming here again for the amazing vibes. Thank you mi Veracruz for being one of the best restaurants in Mooresville, but most of all thank you for your amazing staff members like Kevin who makes a customer feel like they are truly welcomed with his amazing customer service. I had the best experience and time at mi Veracruz! The scenery of this restaurant is immaculate. My waiter was named Kevin and he gave the best service I’ve ever had. He was nice, kind, compassionate & refilled my drinks without me asking. He deserves a raise or something. ! I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants in Mooresville, by far I had the best service. Thank you mi Veracruz & Kevin the waiter you went above and beyond!

Let me tell ya’ll about my amazing experience at mi Veracruz last week! I had the best time ya’ll, I had the privilege of meeting Kevin who was my waiter, and let me tell ya’ll, he was respectful, polite, friendly, & such a hard fast worker. My table was clean, & nicely set up, the chips and salsa were delicious & my drinks were top tear & don’t ever get me started on my enchiladas I can’t wait to go again. Kevin treated me with such hospitality & made me feel welcomed and so comfortable, comfortable enough I asked him for a picture because he was for real an amazing waiter to me. Yall that man was taking care of multiple tables, and still made sure I was ok and if I needed anything else. He made me feel as if I was family and that is what makes mi Veracruz GREAT, it’s waiters like Kevin who make the atmosphere so special, you can tell he loves his job yall. I definitely recommend all of yall who are looking for an amazing, friendly, and delicious Mexican restaurant look no further mi Veracruz is the place to go, and if you are lucky enough like me to get Kevin as your waiter you will have no regrets (between me and you, ya’ll can request him to be your waiter & take a nice picture like we did:) thank you mi Veracruz, and thank you Kevin you made me feel so welcomed last week!

We recently visited Mi Veracruz Mexican Restaurant in Mooresville, and while the setting is certainly unique and charming — dining in a beautifully restored old church gives it a great atmosphere — the overall experience was a bit underwhelming. The food was average at best, and the salsa lacked the bold flavors we were hoping for. One downside that really stood out was the strong smell of cleaning solvents lingering in the air during our meal, which made it hard to fully enjoy the experience. The margaritas were also disappointing — very watered down and lacking flavor. It’s a lovely spot visually, but unfortunately the food and drinks didn’t quite live up to the setting.

One of my favorite spots in Mooresville! The food at Mi Veracruz is always fresh and really tasty. I’ve tried a bunch of things here and everything’s been great — especially the tacos and fajitas. The staff is super nice and the service is quick. Prices are fair too. Just a good, friendly place to grab some awesome Mexican food. Highly recommend!

Probably the best Mexican food in Mooresville I’ve found. I love the location. Nice little spot in an old church. Parking can be difficult if really busy. I decided to get the beef soft tacos. I’m usually a chicken enchilada girl, but was craving tacos. They were pretty good. I prob wouldn’t get them again. I prob should have just ordered my usual go-to. Everything else was great. I like to order a virgin strawberry daiquiri & it was perfect. Chips & salsa good. Service was good. Definitely a language barrier at times, but that’s okay! We’ve eaten here a few times now.

Best Mexican restaurant I’ve found in my 3 years of being in the area. Hard to find anything close to what I’m used to on the west coast. They just about have it nailed. Super great atmosphere inside an old church converted to a resteraunt. Servers were great even though they made a mistake on my meal I ate it anyway because it was actually SO good. I went with the chimichanga. I wanted fried but forgot to ask that option..or wasn’t asked and got the standard style which turned out to be quite delicious (chicken) filled. The guacamole is very very good but overpriced in my experience for this tiny dish. This was my second time visiting in the last few weeks. Last time I enjoyed the enchiladas..usually my go to when judging somewhere new, they were good enough to get a second visit from me. The rice is real close but seems to be missing something. Maybe it was just a tad to dry? Less flavorful? I can’t put my finger on it but seems to be the norm out here. I will return to try new items in the future while I’m here. Working towards my 1000th resteraunt review. Perhaps this will be the one!

Warning: if using Yelp, it may take you a third party site that is not the fault of this restaurant at all. They knew we ordered, but could not see what we ordered. When we arrived for pickup and learned this, they just had me tell them my order and they made it in 8 minutes, were very kind about it, and it was just as delicious as dining in.
