I was on my way to Asheville, and this location is somewhat on the way so I stopped here for lunch. You have to take an exit and go a little down the road to get to it, and getting back on the road to go towards Asheville is pretty easy. I ordered a 4-piece chicken strip basket with cheese curds as my side, and ranch as the dipping sauce. I had my own drink so I did not order a drink. I ordered using the app and then went inside to let the workers know that I had placed an order. When I entered, there were only a couple of workers, and they were in the back. It took a couple of minutes for them to see that I was waiting (which is fine, they are busy doing their job,) and then my food was given to me. The food was pretty average. The chicken felt a little old and dry, but they were revived a little bit with the sauce. The cheese curds felt like they had been dropped recently so they were hot. The marinara sauce that comes with the cheese curds is good, too. Overall, I had a decent experience here and I appreciated that I was able to get my lunch here.

The young lady that works at the front with the piercings had a bad attitude. Wanted a smoothie and the smoothie machine was down. There should at least be signs to let people know when product is not available. Very unhappy customer.

The five star rating is dependent on what the Dairy Queen offered and their customer service. At this Dairy Queen they do not have hamburger, and so I cannot rate them on what they do not have for that is not the store of that location’s fault.
Today I ordered a crispy flamethrower chicken sandwich meal with an Oreo Cookie Dough Blizzard. The fries were to Dairy Queen standard, the chicken sandwich was fresh and fantastic, and the blizzard also was perfect (may have been better with chocolate ice cream).
I would like to mention that Dairy Queen is my favorite fast food restaurant, always has, always will. Additionally, Dairy Queen better not be closing up shop anytime soon. I’ve noticed that the full-menu Dairy Queens in North Carolina are not in the big cities. I would love a Dairy Queen in High Point or Greensboro!

No matter what flavor blizzard you order here, you get only a vanilla blizzard w a teaspoon of toppings and that’s been the case since COVID. For example, if you order a French Silk Pie Blizzard, you get a vanilla blizzard w three shards of chocolate, no pie crust, and an explanation that’s exactly how they are supposed to be made. No matter that the website and menu state it’s a chocolate blizzard meant to have pie crust. If you order a peanut butter reeeses pieces cockle dough blizzard, as you can see you get only a vanilla blizzard w a sprinkle of off brand peanut butter shell candy dots. They will happily take your money but they not only refuse to make the blizzard you order, they will tell you the website and menu is correct and whatever they hand you is what you get, sorry.
This has been the case without fail, if we try this place again it will be when public school is in session and hope there is a sober, responsible adult on the line.

Dairy Queen is typically pretty decent, but this time was very bad. The gravy that was provided was clearly days old, dark in color, with hard chunks in it. The fries were old and stale, and my toast lacked even a small bit of butter. The picture attached is the gravy.

Don’t waste your time or money! Despite no customers, we waited 15 minutes or more for (2) 4 piece bbq strips that I’m pretty sure were from Walmart frozen section smothered in sauce but were barely warm, fries were cold and cokes had no ice and were flat. I’m guessing they were poured from a 2 liter. Sadly they didn’t even have the common sense to grab ice from the gas station they’re connected to.
