First time here and everything was amazing! The mussels were in a very delicious broth, which were incredible (perfect for dipping the ciabatta bread with whipped butter and black salt ). Truffle pizza and Caesar salad were both amazing, and my Old Fashioned was strong and delicious. Great happy hour prices, quality food, and attentive service—the manager even checked in. Street parking was easy. Perfect spot for a date or catching up with friends. Will definitely be back!

We popped into Rossi late on a Wednesday evening after just getting back home from our honeymoon. The staff were overly accommodating and eager to celebrate our marriage with them. Not only are their drinks great, service is great but they just so happen to serve the best mussels that I’ve had in Columbus so far. I can’t recommend this place enough and I can’t wait to go back!

We came here for a late dinner on a Saturday night at the end of August. We were in the area doing touristy things and didn’t realize it was Ohio State game day. We walked from our hotel to find dinner. The whole street was packed with people and most restaurants were full. Luckily we found this place and it was busy but we snagged a couple seats at the bar.

A bartender was with us quickly and gave us menus. We ordered a couple drinks and decided to share mussels and brussel sprouts and to split the pesto ravioli. The shared appetizers were good – especially the brussel sprouts. Luckily the kitchen split the ravioli up for us so we didn’t have to do that on the bar. That pesto sauce was so good I wished I had saved some of the toast from the mussels to get every little last bit of it out of the bowl. It was very good. We were in a weekend trip and this was the best meal we had all weekend.

The bartenders were personable and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed but also bustling with music and people talking. It wasn’t so loud that we couldn’t hear each other and the music wasn’t so loud that I wanted to chew to the beat.

Prices were comparable to other places we have gone – nothing crazy.

We walked from the hotel so I can’t really speak on parking but I will say traffic was bad that night. If we were driving we probably would have tried to find a garage.

This was an excellent meal.

We were given free gift cards from a friend and popped in to check out this restaurant. It was so classy and swanky and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We started off with a couple of drinks that were delicious and moved on to a couple of appetizers. The appetizers were so unique and both were really good. We ordered a pizza for your main entree and a couple more drinks and again all of it was amazing. We have already told all of our friends how good it was and are planning another trip!

Beware: Do NOT order Carbonara!!

When I decide to leave reviews for a place, it’s because I loved it and believe it’s worth visiting, but I was so disappointed this time that I chose to share my honest review.
Although the place is quite nice and we received good service, my negative review is about the dish itself. Sorry, but what I got was NOT Carbonara — it was a fettuccine Alfredo with a raw egg yolk on top (disgusting). I’m not Italian, but I’m pretty sure an Italian would have fainted at the sight of that, at the very least. I’ve tried Carbonara in Italy and several other European countries, and I can confidently say that what I was served was not Carbonara. Just remove it from the menu!

What a special place in the Short North! The food was fantastic and so was the service/ambiance. Highly recommend the burrata as an appetizer, that was definitely the highlight! The carbonara pasta and the short rib ragu pasta were also very good. We will definitely be back!

Good food and great service. We went only for the meatball because we saw it online and had to try. The presentation was lovely. It was nice to have a little bread to scoop up the sauce, and the fresh basil added a nice touch to the taste of the food. Would be open to returning to try other dishes.

A Couple Drinks
The Rossi is one of our favorite spots in the Short North!
Their chicken parm is absolutely phenomenal – the saude is rich and flavorful, and the chicken is perfectly cooked, never dry.
The mussels are always delicious.
The bread service is a must! The butter with black salt takes it to another level!
We also tried the mushroom pesto pizza, and it was incredible.
The drinks can be excellent, depending on the bartender. Or good otherwise.

A special shoutout to Amanda, the general manager – she’s fantastic! Always smiling, checking in on tables, and making sure everything is running smoothly.

Rossi is a must-visit in the Short North!

Tuesday night and ordered food to go. Two pastas and an appetizer. As I walk in, I see three people huddled up talking and it’s not busy in the slightest inside. I look around since it’s my first time at the restaurant. I don’t dress up to get my to go order— which is a great trick to see how the staff will treat someone. I said I made an online order and received my bag. No words of exchange— just given a bag of food. I already paid, but you as the employee should give your best customer service. You didn’t get a tip because you didn’t deserve it from that behavior. The food was mediocre. Very oily. I’m not sure if it’s because I look young, my race/ethnicity, or how I dressed to pick up an online order, but I’ll be sure to not come back based off the customer service alone.

We went there for my sons birthday celebration, the food was really good. We had Rossi burger, Truffle pizza( moms favorite with no red sauce), crust was awesome. We had fried ravioli , bruchetta and calamari which were all good. Bruchetta bread was a bit soggy in the middle. I would wanna go back to try other shareables that sounded all good. That would be a nice if they had a small candle with the desert that we ordered since they already knew we were there for a birthday:(
