What a great dining experience! From our appetizer of a ceviche between potatoes and calamari on top to the classic ceviche dish. Everything was fantastic. Great service and a really cute atmosphere on Valentines Day!
The drinks were amazing as well. The menu is so extensive that anyone could find something really fun to eat. Vegetarian menu included.
Can’t miss with this restaurant in a classic Miami plaza on Bird and Red Road.
Muchas Gracias!

Delicious Peruvian food restaurant. Friendly service and nice indoor dining space. They serve all the classics like ceviche, lomo saltado, causas and more. Great desserts too! Really enjoyed having lunch here. Our meal came out reasonably quick and everything tasted so good!

We recently visited this Peruvian restaurant and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. My wife and I ordered two completely different dishes, yet when they arrived, they tasted almost exactly the same — same flavor, same seasoning — which was very surprising and not in a good way.
I
ordered what the waitress described as a “Pescado al lo amacho, a seafood medley,” but when the plate came out, it was extremely underwhelming. It had only one scallop, about four shrimp, and just a few clams and mussels. For a seafood dish, the portion and variety were very disappointing.
On top of that, the service was poor. The waitress never came back to check on us after the food was served. We had to repeatedly try to get someone’s attention just to get more water. What made this even more frustrating was that the restaurant was not busy at all at the time.
Overall, between the lack of flavor distinction, the small seafood portion, and the inattentive service, it was not a good experience, and unfortunately we would not return.

Weve been wanting to eat here for sometime. We come to Matsuri at least a few times a month. Location is beautiful and staff was super nice. I ordered an IPA craft beer from Peru which was really good. I ordered Ceviche with pulpo and my wife Lomo Saltado. Presentation was nice, but there are very few times in my life, I have not finshed a good ceviche. The amount of salt was super unbearable.i had to return it. My wifes Lomo Saltado, was a smilar issue. Way to salty. They exchanged mine for another dish. I had aji de gallina. and agin way to salty. The white rice made it brearable and this was my first meal of the day. Don’t know if they had a bad day, or maybe the chef was out. But its very rare I write negative reviews on restaurants. Hoping the fix the issue , cause location is really nice.

Got to dinner early and normally they take reservations. Definitely service with a smile.
Our food and drinks came out at a very reasonable time and the presentation to everything was good. And very tasty even asked for the hot sauce and it was extremely spicy – major plus. cuatro leches
What’s for dessert? Was absolutely delicious. Don’t take my word for it. Order one for yourself and an espresso. Very good Taipa

I had a great experience at Taipa! The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and quick. The food was just as impressive, with flavors that truly resemble what you’d find in Peru. Everything we tried was delicious and clearly made with care.
Another big plus is the location. The restaurant is in a plaza with plenty of parking, which makes the visit even more convenient. If you’re craving authentic Peruvian cuisine in Miami, Taipa is definitely worth a visit!

Taipa is my favorite restaurant to enjoy Peruvian food with the family. The best ceviches, seafood, saltados, and Peruvian cocktails. The service is amazing every time I’ve visited and Alejandro’s recommendations are always spot on. Cannot beat the value for the price either.

Delicious Peruvian Seafood (Many types of Ceviche) and a large selection of traditional Peruvian Creole dishes “Aji de Gallina”, “Seco de Res con Frijoles”, etc. Great place to enjoy super good food. For dessert I strongly recommend “Suspiro a la Limeña”.
I would not recommend the “Picarones” because some Peruvian recipe ingredients were not there, for example, no squash or sweet potato. I would recommend the restaurant to call them buñuelos instead.

First timers here, I wish I could eat there every day :). Drinks, food and dessert were made to perfection. Our Venezuelan server was professional and knowledgeable. We
went for dinner on a week day, and it was pleasantly quiet. Plenty of parking on the plaza. We shall return.
