Absolutely disgusted. I ordered 2 barbacoa (left) and 2 lengua (right). I’m sorry but what Lengua looks like that? All smushed together like some sort of mystery meat. When I got the food and sat back in my car it even stunk before opening it. I was honestly scared to try it but I paid $4 each for lengua so I ended up trying it. Worst tacos I’ve ever had. It was overly salty and immediately after eating i’ve felt bad ever since. Probably got food poisoning. The barbacoa wasn’t as bad it was a bit dry but my god please don’t order the lengua.
The prices are all scratched out and you don’t know how much anything is.
Lengua was $4 each
For two barbacoa and two lengua it was $14.
I regret leaving a tip. Go to the taco truck next to them much better “La taqueria del pueblo”

Great steak tacos. $2.50 each. Many entrees offered $12.00. It comes with beans, rice. Chicken polo, hot green salsa sauce, fresh flour or corn tortillas, chalupas, quessadillas, fresh cilantro. Good prices. Always open 7 days a week from 10-8. Turn right from Jacksonville on Marine Blvd before Triangle @ Dairy Queen onto 258. It’s on the left in parking lot next to Green Clean Car wash. Cute yellow taco truck.

Set in a dusty parking lot & surrounded by yard sale vendors, I had high hopes.
I got the steak tacos & thought they tasted fine, and the green Taco sauce was nice.
My wife & son did not agree at all and chose not to finish their food after 2 bites. They claimed that the meat tasted like liver.
I don’t know, but I did have a “liver-like” aftertaste after 3 minutes.
I would eat there again.

THIS FOOD IS AMAZING!!! If you want authentic green chili Tomales, beans and rice, streets corn in a bowl(I prefer the ear but the taste is on point) then this little truck is a must try!! I only spent 20.83 and got all of that X 2 along with 2 amazing tacos! Both their green chili and red sauces are life! I WILL be a regular customer now. It’s crazy that I’ve driven by the truck so many times trying to figure out something different than every other place in Jacksonville for my family to eat when that shimny pearl was sitting right there. TRY IT! Definitely worth more than they charge!!

Not great tacos, I wouldn’t come back but at least I tried them. The el pastor was more like ground meat with some flavoring and the lengua had no flavor. Only good thing was the tortillas didn’t fall apart. Also $3 per small taco so overall not a great experience.

I have been missing food like this since moving to here from California. The food was delicious, a little pricey, but definitely worth it. We got Carne asada tacos, quesabirrias, a gordita, and horchata and my husband and I loved everything. Definitely going to be coming back here frequently.

Limited menu, small portions for the cost. I didn’t care for the fact that they put their sauces in baggies, the cilantro was unwashed and there were flies everywhere. Will not frequent again.

Great tacos, I come from Holly Ridge just to get me some tacos. I never know what it’s going to cost because there’s no process on the board but I usually get something different every time so the prices are always different. But so far I loved everything. Today’s meal was tacos de cabeza mmmmmm
