okay normally i’m not the type of person to review places and their foods, the service but the waiter was so sweet and had good humor but for the food oh my goodness it was so fricking good I would eat it again and again the food was the best food I ever tried. I kinda forgot what it’s called but you must TRY IT!!! I have it shown. anyway I do love how the place looks inside its so beautiful and I love the music in there very good music!!

The presentation is excellent and visually appealing. However, the primary issue I’ve consistently encountered is with the flavor of the food. Despite giving the restaurant multiple chances, the preparation appears to be lacking. The seafood often tastes bland, and even the tacos fall short of expectations. The dishes could greatly benefit from more seasoning and depth of flavor.

This was a hard call, and I wish Google would let me rate 4.5. I finally decided to just round up to 5.
For Maine, this was outstanding, phenomenal Mexican food.
The fajitas were excellent and plentiful. The beans and rice, the salsa, the chips, the draft beer options, the guac, all delicious. Overall, it was better than most of the Mexican food places up here, for sure. Probably 3rd or 4th best of all we’ve tried so far.
The service was great, as well. Lovely ambiance, fast and attentive service, crazy fast food arrival.
The only two reasons I would say 4.5:
1. I was disappointed in the quesabirria. It was delicious but absolutely NOT authentic quesabirria, which should be a seriously unhealthy meal. Fajita Grill’s version was like a healthy version of the concept. The tortillas were dry, not soaked in birria before cooking. There was no melted cheese inside or out. The “consomme” had no fat and little seasoning. Overall, these were more like carnitas but made with beef roast, and served with something closer to au jus. Again, it was delicious… But it absolutely wasn’t what I ordered, wanted, or would have chosen if I’d known how it would come out. I hope I get a chance to go back and try the poblanos.
2. The queso is served chilled, which shouldn’t even be possible. Queso, good and real queso dip, should solidify when it gets cold. It should be too thick to even dip a chip in once it gets cool. The waitress warmed it, and it was as thin as water and tasted like it was walked through a room where queso was stored… But mostly it just tasted like crema.
Again, overall the food was honestly delicious, but if you are Southern and you see quesabirria, al pastor, elote (they called it something else, but that’s what it looked like) and other delightful surprises on the menu… Proceed with caution.

I come here all the time and I love the place. That being said the bar is always ignored to detriment. The last 4 times I have gotten food here there has been a mistake. 3 of those times it has been wings. I don’t like ranch so I ask for bleu cheese dressing only. Every time I am given ONLY ranch. I am not sure what to do at this point. I will give it one more chance then start going somewhere else. There are some new Mexican places in rock row. I tried to contact through the website but they block emails. So now you have a 1 star review on google.

We stumbled in on a Taco Tuesday, lucky us! The chicken tacos were really good, my partner said one of the better ones he has ever had. The chimichanga was ok but not quite as impressive, the chicken inside was more dry than in the tacos. All and all very good food, very kind service, the restaurant itself is maybe a bit dated but I didn’t come to eat the booths.

Excellent quality food with large portions. Ingredients are fresh and cooked to perfection. Menu has something for everyone including vegetarians. Chips and salsa served with every meal. Great drinks as well. Large bar area with several TV’s to catch a game and have a great meal. Outdoor seating also available. Parking can be scarce but worth the effort.

I stopped here for lunch with my daughter. They brought out freshly made chips and salsa as we sat down. Warm tortilla chips were delicious and the salsa was also very good. I ordered the carne asada taco lunch plate. The meat was good. I liked the Mexican flavors. The sides of rice and beans came in little tortilla bowls. The hot sauce was good but the guacamole was just okay. The prices are very fair. All in all, it was a good lunch experience and I look forward to going back when I am in the area.

I love this place! The food is always so great, but what makes it even better is the kindness & amazing customer service. I spilled an entire full margarita all over my table – it went everywhere. My bad! The wait staff immediately came over to help clean up my mess, and within a couple of minutes they replaced my drink without me even ordering it. They only charged me for the one drink, and were so kind about the entire thing. I love this place and this staff !!

Extremely polite waitress that was attentive and not afraid to crack a joke and have a good time. Food was so delicious and came out piping hot and fast. Drinks were tasty and well made. Can’t wait to go back and eat there again
