don’t have much to say here other than these were the smallest pieces of fish in fish and chips that I’ve ever seen.
like i was shocked when they came out. this plate is like 80% fries 20% fish. what??
one of the pieces of fish had this weird greenish coloring at the bottom. i still ate it, and i’m fine a few days later, so i suppose it wasn’t poisonous. but that’s still kind of concerning
fries were decent i guess. also tartar sauce had no taste
not good. don’t recommend. 2/10

The service is great. Good people. The food? Horrible. I mean, really bad. They didn’t salt anything at all. The fries tasted like they had sat out for four days. The burger was grey all around without any browning on the outside?
The fish was clearly freezer burnt and its “fried” exterior was soggy and stiff, not crisp. Everything took ages to chew like whale blubber.

SLOOP <3 Sloop feels like home. Pitchers, burgers, pull tabs, awesome staff, TouchTunes, pool, darts…. LOVE. The amount of burgers (and laughs) I’ve had here is incredible. Carl and Hayden are the BEST and I love catching up with them every weekend. The bartenders are truly the heart of this place. And Kaydee is a total powerhouse!! Watching her run the bar solo on packed nights is so impressive. If you love having fun you should go here. Don’t forget to add grilled onions to your burger. Their tartar sauce is also off the chain. XOXOXO I love you Sloop.

Great dive bar with great service! Food is average and cheap! Oh yeah and a great price on beer! I’ve been going to The Sloop for years and years. One of my favorite spots in Ballard to grab a quick beer and eats. Dog friendly and they have a small area for outside seating when the sun is out. Darts and pool too!

A fun, local place. The drinks were cheap and the food looked good. We had great service from the bartender (I think her name was Cindy). She was very friendly and outgoing. The bar was also dog friendly and had pool tables. If back in the area, we would definitely visit again.

Excellent vibe. Pretty wide open, way bigger inside than it looks. Pool, arcade games, affordable bar food. Clean-ish. Pints or giant beers, good selection on tap and in bottles. Off the Ballard Ave drag so definitely more of a locals bar.

What a great dive bar! They have two pool tables, some arcade games, the Mandalorian Pinball machine, good food and great prices! You have to go up to the bar to order food and drinks but they’ll bring the food to your table. Great place to unwind and let loose.

The food here is really quite good and also good value, consistently so. The onion rings are especially great. Vibes and atmosphere are like a neighborhood bar, not all that divey to be honest. Everyone’s chill, and there are darts and a pool table along with a jukebox.
