Che Maya is by far my favourite spot I’ve found in Cozumel! Fausto and his wife are amazing people that serve amazing food. I had their house special salad with added chicken and another time I went for the diabla, he warned me it was very spicy and it did not disappoint! They have delicious drinks too, my favourite being the pineapple with chaya. They do not serve alcohol but let me bring my own. I highly recommend going here with friends, on a date or even alone! Tell Fausto that Rob from Canada said hi!

Excellent dining experience at Che Maya!
We started with the jalapeño and cheese appetizer — delicious! My husband had the lasagna, which was a generous portion, and I enjoyed the three-cheese pasta with shrimp. Everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The owner spoke excellent English and made us feel very welcome. We never felt rushed — just a relaxing, enjoyable dinner. Highly recommend!

What a lovely experience. We had the Che Maya salad which was delicious. An eggplant spread with bread was served and it was really good. I ordered the 3 cheese past with bacon that was creamy and rich while my husband had the bolognese pasta
. It was a thick rich tomato sauce with a touch of sweetness. My hubby lived it.
The portions were huge. We brought home leftovers and had them for dinner the next day

Had dinner here after a long day in the sun and it was amazing. Our server was very kind and helped us with the menu as well as anything else we needed. We had the squid ceviche, three cheese pasta with shrimp and fish over vegetables. Each dish was filled with flavors that paired all so well with each other. You can tell that they have spent time preparing each dish with care. Thankyou!

This is a great little restaurant owned by a great little family! We started with the Piña y chaya and the Jamaica and decided to do the Tapas style meal since we were a small group and were there mostly to see the new addition to the family! The appetizers were the jalapenos, calamari, empeñada’s and dumplings then some salads and off the menu for the main courses which were incredible! And for dessert we had the inhouse made cheesecake pie drizzled in chocolate for a perfect finish! Don’t let the area or the small dining area fool you into missing out on this great place, this is an incredible new young family that is going to only get better with the years to come!

Small restaurant with very friendly owners. The food is absolutely amazing is is worth the 10 minute drive from town center. The empanadas and the pasta are to die for. Cannot say enough good things about the food and the experience.
