Me and my boyfriend came for a meal and were not disappointed! I had the carbonara while he had a pepperoni pizza and these were both amazing! Great value for money and great portion size. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. The music in the restaurant wasn’t the best but didn’t impact our experience. Also had a mojito which was lovely!

Amazing restaurant. We made a reservation for my husband’s birthday and what a delight. we had a garlic pizza bread starter to share which has options to add various toppings, ours included tomatoes, parmesan, balsamic vinegar, delicious. Mains were a beautifully cooked fillet medium rare, I was told by the waiter (very polite and good service) that chef would refuse to cook if I wanted it cooked any more than medium rare. I like this approach and I see why he said it. The steak was stunning. My husband had the pork very delicious. Somehow we fitted in desert too. Will definitely be coming back. The only reason I put 4 star on atmosphere was at times the music reminded me, at times of my younger drinking days. Although it was quiet and we booked on line I can imagine it getting busy. Very good restaurant and are looking forward to visiting again for pizza next time.

We had a celebration meal at Osteria for 32 of us on Sunday night. This meant pre ordering which was no problem at all. Ethan was really helpful via email with the details and questions I needed answering. The food was absolutely delicious and our waitress Ro was amazing, very attentive and efficient. Service was great and really friendly. Can’t recommend enough!

I’ve eaten here at least 6 times now, I come to Shrewsbury for work and since the first bowl of pasta I tasted I couldn’t wait to return and knew I would frequent it when in the town. the restaurant is solidly consistent with amazing selection s on the menu. never once had anything to say negative about a meal/experience I have had .
Ethan the young waiter who seems to be there for every service is exceptional, I hope the establishment know what an absolute gem they have in this young man, I’ve sat and watched him cover the restaurant floor on his own with sometimes 20-30 covers and he does not miss a beat.
I can’t wait to return a truly authentic Italian no wonder pizza express is empty with this place as it’s neighbour.

Special lunch menu is amazing value. Great fresh food with a drink all for £8. Great service too thanks to Ethan.

An amazing restaurant, worth the hype.
I have to recommend the pork belly, both the nibbles and the main are amazing! The dough balls are out of this world gone so fast that I couldn’t even snap up a photo of them.
We’ve sampled the pasta (ravioli and a carbonara that I thought I wouldn’t see outside of Italy) and the risotto (sausage) as well as the award winning pork dish.
I promise you we will be back to try the pizza.
Everything is unexpected, with twists of anise and hints of subtle and deep wine, or other components you’ve never thought of, but once you taste them you wonder why you’ve never considered them before.
Nothing is taken for granted and yet you’re given so much more than you asked for.
An unforgettable experience in Italian dining!

Really tasty food, we enjoyed the squid ink risotto and the braised ox cheek risotto. I think the squid ink is not on the menu anymore but definitely recommend for food, great flavours and cooked well. A little pricey but worth it.
