I am not someone who typically writes negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience so other couples can make an informed decision.
I scheduled a wedding cake tasting with this baker well in advance. On the day of the appointment, I happened to see a Facebook post stating they were closing early. I was never directly notified. When I messaged the baker, she said we would need to reschedule. Had I not seen the Facebook post, I would have shown up unaware.
I gave the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled for the following week. Unfortunately, the same situation happened again—I saw another Facebook post saying they were closing early on the day of my appointment. Once again, I had to reach out myself and was told we needed to reschedule. I expressed how inconvenient this was and asked to please be notified ahead of time if closures affected my appointment. She apologized and acknowledged being disorganized, saying she would “make it up to me.”
The third tasting finally happened, and during that meeting we clearly discussed my wedding timeline. I explained when the ceremony would begin, and she assured me she would arrive with plenty of time to set up the dessert table.
On my wedding day, however, the baker had not arrived with the cake or desserts five minutes before I was scheduled to walk down the aisle. She arrived while my wedding party was actively walking down the aisle, and her vehicle loudly pulled out of the gravel driveway. This moment is clearly visible and audible in my wedding video—something that would not have happened had she arrived at the agreed-upon time.
Receiving my wedding video brought this all back to the surface. Timeliness and communication are crucial when it comes to weddings, and unfortunately, both were major issues throughout my experience. I would strongly caution future couples who are considering this vendor, especially if you are relying on them to adhere to a strict wedding-day timeline.

I gotta say, this is the best cake i’ve had in a HOT minute. Soft, moist, icing was still smooth and not crunchy, even after being refrigerated for 48 hours. I would give them a 9.9 out of 10, BUT, that’s a personal thing. I don’t personally love super thick icing, but that’s just me. Cake was delish, would definitely recommend

I recently ordered a gluten-free chocolate cake from Becca Bakes, and I have to say, it does not taste gluten-free at all! It is absolutely scrumptious, and the icing is to die for. I don’t know who is behind these incredible gluten-free creations, but they definitely know what they’re doing. The cake reminds me of the delicious bakery cakes I enjoyed as a child. My family and I moved to KOWB temporarily about a year ago and with that came birthdays and a baby. I didn’t want to go the boring store bought route so I decided to give a local business a try. With Becca Bakes being 2 minutes away from my house, it seemed like a no brainer. Boy, we were in for a treat! After the first cake, we were hooked. 3 cakes later, I had to compose this review and let yall know that this is the place to go if you want delicious cake. Becca works with her customers and does not shy away from a challenge. I am limited to 5 stars but she deserves a 10 out of 10. Thank you so very much Becca and her friendly staff for making our special moments that much more memorable. You guys knocked it out of the park. Take a look, yall!

I ordered the strawberry with butter cream for my sister’s birthday. It was a beautiful 3-layer cake, and it was delicious. I live out of town, but was told about how great Becca Bakes is, so placed an order. When in the area this is my go-to place from now on. Great customer service, as well.
