I’ve been a regular here long enough to know the difference between a “scoop” and a “scam.” When I walk into this Chipotle in person, my bowls and burritos are massive. But the second you switch to DoorDash? Everything changes.
It’s not just the hiked-up delivery prices; it’s the cowardly portion control. It feels predatory. They’re banking on the fact that they’ll never have to look you in the eye while they skim off the top. They hide behind online apps because they know they won’t be confronted about these pathetic portions in person. It’s a calculated move to charge us more for less, and frankly, it’s demeaning.
To the Management that forces their employees to do this:
Just because we’re in Santa Fe doesn’t mean we have money to burn on half-empty bowls. People come to you because you claim to be the “healthy, affordable” choice for those of us working hard to get by. By gutting the value for online orders, you’re spitting on that reputation.
I’m joining the chorus of every other fed-up reviewer: the “digital tax” is real, it’s shameful, and I’m done. Do better, or keep watching your regulars walk out the door.
It was really crowded at 2:15pm on a Saturday and not a lot of place to sit but they have nice outdoor seatings.
I almost deducted one point for the paper straws but everything else was excellent.
I thought it was banned in the USA since the new presidency.
On top of that, the food itself just tasted off — almost artificial, like it wasn’t fresh or real. The texture and flavor were nothing like what I’ve had before from other locations. For a place that advertises “real ingredients,” this was the exact opposite.
I won’t be going back to this location anytime soon. Chipotle really needs to step up its quality control and food safety — no one should have to worry about what they’re biting into.
