I had my baby shower here and it was fantastic! The staff were amazing and accommodating. It went off without a hitch. The brunch buffet we had was wonderful. All the food was warm, and delicious.

Great deal on Wednesday $22 special for ladies. Signature coctail was tasty but too sweet. Tomato soup was good but didn’t taste the rosemary. Entree was good portion but luke warm. Whoopie pie was good.

Food is good. Not great. I got the prime rib eggs benedict and it was just all right but definitely not one of the better eggs benedict I’ve had. The same goes for the home fries. They do have a great deck, with and without shade and some cover to cut the wind, that overlooks part of the golf course though, which is really nice.

Hadn’t been here since 1982 because I moved away. Came in to see one of my favorite bands ‘Stray Dog’. Great venue for music. Love the new look of the place. Food and beverages were good and even though it was crowded, service was excellent! Got there early to get a good table for the entertainment and stayed till 11:30. I’ll be back.

Went in last night a little before closing. I would of thought I was at the Ritz with the hospitality I received. Got a nice cold Stella immediately served to me. Cook went home but the bartender whipped.this is up like a chef. Been here twice and I will be back. Also I hear weekends tjey have live entertainment.
5 stars all day long….

The only redeeming thing about the night was spending time with my friends!

Three friends and I attended the November Girls Night Out last night. The menu seemed like it would be good, Caesar salad, Mac n cheese, an apple blossom for dessert, and a cocktail for $22. However, the cocktail rotated watered down and the Mac n cheese was below par (elevated boxed macaroni only made edible by using cavatappi pasta). It was velveeta colored and gloppy.

Service was ok, but very curt. We had barely finished our salads when they brought the macaroni. Same with dessert–we barely finished our main when it was brought. We were supposed to be able to opt for vanilla ice cream, but no one asked us–we were not offered coffee or tea, either. We lingered after finishing dessert for about 10 minutes and then were asked to leave because they had ‘many people waiting to be seated’. Our waiter was good, but the fact that he seemed like a deer in the headlights kept him from being able to do his job well (it was his first Girls Night Out). The food runners did exactly that–dropped the food then scooted to the next table. Our forks had been taken and it took 5 minutes to get something to eat dessert with.

I think Derryfield needs to re-examine how they run this event. It was not pleasant and the food was subpar. I’m sad but I’ll not be returning.

Went for February girl dinner and it was fantastic! Definitely busy but they seemed to have a good system down. Food was delicious, and they didn’t rush us either. Will be returning!

I was the DJ and photographer at a wedding that was held there on April 20, 2024. And every phase of the experience was fantastic. The mood amongst the staff is upbeat and cheerful and they were very helpful several times. Not only when I was having my earlier meal over in the restaurant side but later on when I was performing my duties over on the function side. From top to bottom they have all good people who realize what service is about. The food was nothing short of spectacular and the ambiance of the venue is just wonderful! I could go on and on and on but a special shout out to the staff that was on duty during the wedding because each and every one of them did specific things to make the bride and groom and all of the guests enjoy the event so much! Great job and thank you! 🙂

We decided to have a drink in the bar to watch the Pats and had a great surprise when the live music showed up. Jodie Frawlee was so amazing! We were also pleasantly surprised at the prices here. All around, a great experience!

This review is for the Function room at The Derryfield.

My family had a truly wonderful experience booking the Derryfield for celebration of life luncheon for 90 guests. I really can’t say enough positive things about the entire experience, but I truly believe the staff deserves this praise.

The booking / planning process: Perfect! Kelly helped make planning our event menu for the day, as well as arranged for use of function room amenities (none of which we “expected” but we’re lucky to have access to.) We opted for a hot luncheon buffet, which was well priced, with a comprehensive list of mains and side courses.

The staff: We had a front of house team of four who were flawless and on top in every way. Our bartender kept the cocktails flowing and the line was never long. (We had a cash bar and drink pricing was very reasonable!) Our serving staff presented the delicious food on schedule, and helped guests move through the line quickly – without feeling rushed. Empty plates, glasses and dinnerware were bussed oh-so-quickly and smoothly. Like serving ninjas, everyone moved so quickly and smoothly, with smiles and the highest level of friendly professionalism. They really made the exceptional vibe and “perfect machine” clockwork-like feeling of this event. Amazing work!

The food: We chose the Bistro Steak and Stuffed Chicken entrees. BOTH were raved about! Kudos to the chef and kitchen. The chef’s choices for veggies and starch were great, the salad tremendous, and our chosen soup also delicious. (We also recommend the cheese display and veggie crudité appetizers – worth adding!) The selection of desserts were a perfect finish. All guests ate well at our event!

The room: The function room at The Derryfield is incredible. Spectacular wide-angle views over the golf course, combined with the abundantly light, airy, and large space, really set the standard high. Speaking of high, the large doors and vaulted ceiling added extra drama. This would be an excellent room for a wedding reception, reunion, or any large party. The supplied linens, place settings, table and chair treatments, and overall decor in the room (and out) made for a wonderful entrance and impression. Our guest list was 90, but this room could handle considerably more.

Overall, I can’t stress how happy we are we chose The Derryfield for our special remembrance event. On top of all mentioned, the value here is also super high. We didn’t choose the Derryfield because it was less expensive, but their costs were ULTRA competitive, making them hard to beat in the value category. My family will not hesitate to book this room again for future gatherings, and I certainly will refer others in the future. Thank you so much, everyone.
