Bite a Bagel is a family owned and operated bagel store featuring bagels, variety of homemade flavored cream cheese and made to order grilled breakfast and lunch sandwiches. We do not use a microwave to cook your breakfast sandwich! Our bagel dough is not made on premise, but is shipped in from a company who has mastered their family recipe, originally from NY! We then proof overnight, season and steam bake them fresh every morning on site. For lunch we serve Boars Head TM meats and cheeses made to order along with daily specialty bagel sandwiches, including bagel burgers. We look forward to serving the community and providing you with a quality breakfast and lunch alternative. We appreciate your business.

This is the best bagel spot in town. Not even close. Their bagels are fresh and the breakfast sandwiches are amazing. Always great, friendly service here. Their jalapeño cheddar bagel is the best I’ve ever had. Very unique in that it’s crumbled, burnt jalapeños on top of bagel. Everything I’ve ever gotten from here is on point. Lox, cream cheeses, breakfast platters etc. Really happy to have found this place!

My favorite bagel place! The bagels here are made fresh throughout the day, although they do sell out often. They are very busy on the weekends, so I’d recommend ordering ahead through the phone (not answered on there weekends due to the amount of customers, but you can place orders days ahead) or online. The staff are super helpful and friendly. My favorite order is an asiago bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese. I also like the onion bagel BEC! There’s three tables with four chairs each inside, which can fill up fast. The store is clean, the staff are attentive, and the food is incredible! They do catering as well, and even often donate the leftover bagels to charities or schools. It’s a small business, and I love to support them!

This by far is the best bagel place in Northeast Florida! It is truly difficult to find a decent bagel around Jacksonville and Saint Augustine however, this is a true local owned gem! The bagels are prepared fresh with a variety of flavors including ghost pepper bagel (not something I’m brave enough to try. They had ample pumpernickel bagel, which is one of my favorites and they will cut them through a machine for free. The customer service is outstanding. I was greeted with a smile and she was very patient as I was selecting the bagels. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and inviting and has a small hint of a New York deli. Even though it’s a bit of a drive, it was worth every single mile! Between the outstanding bagels and the customer service you cannot go wrong here.

Love intolerance. Simply placed my order and requested to be given my drink when the order was prepared. Nah gives it to me directly while paying when I said it 4 seconds prior. Thanks for the warm drink to consume with my meal. VERY SLOPPY

Breakfast sandwiches are good but the service not so much. Ordered in store and waited for over 30 mins for my order to be completed. So many walked in and out after me even after ordering multiple sandwiches like I did. Noone even took a moment to check on my order or at minimum offer me a drink on the house. Dont think I’ll be back in store anytime soon.

We recently ordered bagels here twice, and both times the bagels seemed different than before. They don’t taste the same. They taste watery. The dough is not like a NY style firmness. It seems to me they changed the recipe. I don’t like the new version. Please bring the old back.

Disclaimer: I ordered from DoorDash. Just have to say how amazing their bagel sandwiches are. I love that I can basically customize everything about it. The bacon was crispy, egg (ordered over medium) was cooked perfectly. Their bagels were huge, fluffy and seasoned just right! I’m definitely gonna be ordering lots more from them!
