This is a ayce place. It’s a straight 13 dollars with drink. The place is clean and staff/service is better than most places. The food is fresh but it’s not Michelin. I gave it a 5 overall because the food and price with service. Always has fried chicken, salad, and sides. Other items vary with days of the week. Try to beat it.

I guess I must be at the wrong restaurant because the good reviews about the food is so untrue with my experience. I never ate more dry food in all my days and the catfish and the chicken was very cold. I got a cup of coffee that should have been thrown out days ago I was starving when I got there at about two. Only had a cup of coffee for breakfast so I stomached it but it was terrible IF IT WAS EVEN FAIRLY GOOD I WOULD NOT WRITE A REVIEW AT ALL BUT I HAD TO LET YOU AND THE RESTAURANT KNOW!!! You have lost my business permanently. I ate here on 10/23/2025 around 3pm. I’ve been here numerous times and the Chinese lady at the register definitely knows that. I am the negro that ALWAYS tip both waitresses. I had the white waitress with the different color hair (pink, green) and the other white waitress with the long black hair this time. The white waitress with the black hair asked if I needed more pink lemonade, Although she was not my waitress. It had a strange taste to it and I was very sick later that night which has NEVER happened to me. But, NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME WILL EVER PROSPER! (ISAIAH 54:17) I ALWAYS get a condescending vibe and fake smiles from some of the staff and patrons in there. They can’t, won’t, or just plain scared to look me in the eyes. Are you prejudice people mad at GOD for my skin color? JOHN 8:44

It gets no homeier than this. The customer service is excellent. Very little to choose from. The broccoli salad is the very best thing I’ve ever had. A real family feeling. The bathrooms were very clean.

Wow. This place was wonderful! They had everything you could want. Chicken, soup, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, beans, deviled eggs, desserts, and more! Big shout out to Dakota and Lori for making the experience perfect! I can’t wait to bring my family here!

Mannnnn, I was really looking forward to trying this place after reading some positive reviews and seeing the pictures but it was pretty awful! Let’s go through each item..
The baked whiting was inedible – fishy, super salty, tough, and DRY.
The fried chicken was kind of ok I guess. I was able to eat a few bites after drenching it in hot sauce.
The mac and cheese was the worst and WEIRDEST I’ve had in my life. It was sitting in a container halfway filled with orange watery liquid. No flavor, definitely no cheese, and just odd blandness.
The greens were cooked properly but bland – they need some ham hock or vinegar or something for flavor.
Even the coleslaw came half filled with milky water. It was more like colesoup.
The dessert was some type of pudding or cobbler I think. Not sure what it was supposed to be.
The only part of the meal that was good was the little side salad and the dinner roll.
What a bummer. 90% of the meal is in the trash and I’m about to order a second meal from a different restaurant!

These are the very BEST catfish nuggets I have had from anywhere in a long time! The batter was just the way a southern woman expects it – with cornmeal in it. It was crispy and fresh. The desserts weren’t worth the calories, and I’d have been ashamed to serve banana pudding that looked as crusty as that mess did, but the main dishes and sides were fantastic. Even the baked chicken was great. Most buffets ruin baked chicken, but not here.

The lady at the counter was very nice. The food was not up to par. I could not eat any of it. The food looked like frozen meals. I asked for Salisbury Steak and it looked like a frozen banquet meal with broth. Very disappointed and will not return.
