This Starbucks location truly shines! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere. The baristas were incredibly friendly and efficient, handling a steady stream of customers with impressive speed and genuine smiles. My latte was crafted to perfection—rich, creamy, and precisely the right temperature, with beautiful latte art that showed their attention to detail.
What really sets this Starbucks apart, though, is the overall vibe. It’s clean, well-lit, and the background music is just loud enough to be enjoyable without being intrusive, making it ideal for both quick pick-ups and extended work sessions. They even had a few cozy armchairs that were perfect for unwinding. The speed of service, even during a busy morning rush, was commendable. It’s clear the team here takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about the customer experience. This is definitely my new go-to spot for my daily caffeine fix!

We go to this location pretty often, but recently there’s been a shift in quality of the preparation of drinks. Not only did they make one of our drinks incorrectly in our last visit despite the order being taken correctly, they also absolutely crammed ice into our iced coffee. Was gone in three sips. Please don’t rip us off like this in the future. I paid $5 and wanted coffee, not ice.

Stopped on the way to Seattle. Relatively new location, very modern and clean. It’s near the Joint Bases of Fort Lewis and McCord so they do a great job of honoring our soldiers. The staff was also friendly. Nice stop!

Good location, nice partners and customers. Drinks always tasty!

Music in side is booming loud! I can feel the vibrations in the tables. Hard to hear soft spoke cashier as well due to loud music.

I just want to say that this Starbucks really made my night! As I work the night shift, I was able to get my drink for free on the way to work. Everyone here is so sweet, encouraging, and always smiling. They genuinely want to help, and it makes my day better every time I visit!

Really nice Starbucks location. My London Fog was delicious. Store and bathroom were spotless. Everyone working were friendly. This is a special location being so close to joint base Lewis-McChord they honor those serving and those who’ve served. They had a special memorial set up for several past customers.

I understand that mobile orders need a few minutes to make. I pulled up to drive thru and was told I needed to give at least 5 minutes or so for mobile orders. There was no one else in the drive thru. 1 drink and 1 pastry was ordered. Even if I had placed an order right when I pulled up to the intercom, it always took the same amount of time the mobile order took to make since I didn’t even wait that long both times.
And when I get there, I was not expecting it to be ready anyways. I was very aware I had placed the order literally less than 2 minutes before I pulled up to the intercom. I found it rude and unnecessary to repeat that they need more time. Happened twice. Other baristas usually say, “we’re working on it” as opposed to”we require more time to make your order.” I get the impression that they’re just annoyed.

I drive a lot for my job and I’m always passing through DuPont about three days a week. So I always go to the same Starbucks. I always order online and go inside to pick up my orders.
9/10 times nobody says anything to me when I arrive to when I leave.
It’s kind of frustrating that the girls behind the counter all laugh and talk to each other while looking my way, but won’t acknowledge me.
And it’s not like they don’t recognize me, I get the same three items all the time.
The only thing that keeps me going back is they make my drink right every time.

I’ll start by saying I’m a former Starbucks Partner so I know the intricacies of working behind the counter. That said, I go to this location once or twice a week. I wasn’t going to post a review since this is my preferred store but the last three times I have been in, I’ve been ignored behind the counter. This morning, there were at least five partners behind the counter and no one came to take my order for several minutes. The previous time I waited almost ten minutes. You don’t need five partners working behind the counter and no one stepping up to take an order. I will say, one young man behind the counter-working in the drive through, looked at me and asked if I had been helped, and when I said no, he kindly said someone would help me. He wasn’t even assigned to the main floor and was the only one who had the decency to greet me- and if he hadn’t, I probably would have waited even longer.

I don’t understand how you can have so many partners and ignore customers. I worked at the original Starbucks store when it was still in the building across the way. I also worked at a drive thru store, and I would never ignore a customer and let them wait over five minutes to be attended to. Hopefully it will get better but it’s starting to become a trend.
