My wife and I were curious about Higuma and decided to have lunch here. The salad that was brought out was fresh and the dressing was delicious. We also ordered the vegetable tempura which was good. The spicy gyoza were the best part of the whole meal. I ordered the birria ramen; didn’t really taste like birria. There was not a ton of flavor and the meat was very fatty, I ended up taking the meat out. My wife got the chicken ramen which she really enjoyed. Overall, I would come here again, but I’d change up my order a bit.

7.5/10 Food was thoughtfully crafted and brought out reasonably quickly. We ordered the Duck ramen and the Yuzu Lemon ramen. Highly recommend both but I preferred the Yuzu lemon. We also ordered the Agedahsi Tofu and Butter poached scallops as appetizers. Both were good but I preferred the scallops. I’ve had better Agedashi tofu but it acceptable. Service was decent enough but I felt like the staff was low energy. Overall would recommend, the food is absolutely worth trying for anyone who has been considering it.

Binda was the name of the young lady who was helping me today and she was wondering. The place was just what the doctor ordered so to speak because the food was excellent I ordered a Ramen bowl and a caterpillar roll. The food was perfect and it was very inexpensive which was so surprising given the quality of the meal. Let me not forget how being in here was a total vibe!! I loved the whole experience from start to finish!!!

This place is amazing. My husband and I like to get ramen all over the world. This place ranks in my top ramen places (tie with Tokyo and Wynwood walls in Miami).
Everyone can do ramen–it’s not hard, but great ramen is difficult. I had the vegetarian ramen (which no other place in DFW seem to get correct) and my husband had the garlic (time before) and the duck. Each time we finish with nothing left.
Side story, I accidentally left my LV purse, wallet, the whole nine yards. I came back the next night (bc I couldn’t recall where all it could be) and everything was still there. The staff has my full respect.

Hangry’s Buffet
The ramen here is so goood! Takoyakis are delicious too, so are the gyoza. Staff is very friendly and helpful! They have 5 levels of spicy for the ramen, do level 1 if you don’t eat that spicy or non at all. Noodles are fresh and yummy.

Food absolutely slaps. My fiancé and I just discovered this place a few months ago and there hasn’t been a restaurant we’ve gone to so frequently like this one. I’m always craving some takoyaki and garlic tonkatsu ramen! They also have Sapporo on tap at a pretty good price. Staff is super friendly, too. My only very minor complaint is that for the first few times we dined in, they had Taylor Swift on loop for their entire time we were there. I think it’s calmed down since then lol. 🙂

Food arrived it was amazing. I have been to Kyoto, Tokyo, Osaka and Sapporo. Their ramen is very near the authentic. One of the best Ramen I had in America.

Good ramen! Thin noodles and tasty! Only reason not five stars is would say the portion is a little small for price. But the atmosphere is extremely cute! They have an adorable bear mascot! Music is also a decent volume and you can have a conversation with someone across the table with you which is nice.

Just wow! Higuma Ramen & Izakaya completely won me over. The food was incredible — rich flavors, authentic textures, and surprisingly spicy (in the best way!) thanks to their homemade spice blends. As someone used to Indian spice levels, this was the first non-Indian cuisine that actually hit that mark .
The wall art and decor are next level — I genuinely felt like I was tucked away in a cozy ramen spot somewhere in Japan. Loved every bit of it. Can’t wait to go back!
