I’ve been coming to chongs for years. I live out of town now. The one time I come back in town and the service food and the atmosphere was horrific. The food has gone down hill, the service down hill. I came during Sunday for buffet with my family. Upon getting there we sat down, waited a while for our waitress, and once we got our drinks and stuff in, we made our way to the buffet, it wasn’t untill I hunted down a random server to be told there was no chicken on the menu at all, none on buffet, none for order, nothing. They ran out of chicken period. Why not tell someone before you sit them, why not say something or even offer compensation. It ruined are night when there was barely any options at all on the buffet or too order. Upon the end we went to ask about at least getting a discount or at least talking with the lady at the front about the place. For her to tell me to hold on. Not to speak. And for her to ignore me.anyway when I told her to wait I had a few questions. She snatched my card out of my hand and charged anyway when I told her to wait again. For her to say she doesn’t care. Didn’t know and for oh well. When I tried to argue. If I could give zero stars I would. For the service. For the food. For the way everything was handled. If you don’t have something and are out for the whole restaurant you should at least tell your customers before seating them and having them grab plates and food. We won’t be back. Honestly. The food was overcooked, greasy, and not flavorful. If your gonna pick a chongs…the one in lone oak is the best. Even if it is more higher priced. This one is the worst one I have ever been to.

5+ Excellent service & amazing food cooked fresh to order. The won ton soup is light, refreshing, & flavorful. The unique egg rolls are packed w savory flavors w a hint of sweetness. The house made mustard & sweet & sour sauce is legit. The lemon chicken crust is light & flaky. Top w their signature Lemon Glaze & Fresh Lemon juice for the perfect bite. The Ham Fried Rice is the proverbial icing on the Cake. I love everything on my plate but if I could only have one thing this is it. In all my travels I have never found it’s match. This is hands down one of my favorite meals. Worth the drive from Lexington!

BE ADVISED NO BUFFET- I could not leave a worse review for anywhere. Server was absolutely terrible. Not to mention my food not even being ordered. I waited expecting my food and she just simply did not place the damn order.
My wife had chicken fried rice, that was absolutely charred and black. Not even the sodas were correct. Absolute joke. 2 tables of people and still can’t handle that amount of customers. This place will make such a great Spirit Halloween next year! I look forward to whatever business fills this vacancy.

It’s ok. Great selection and ayce… Too much deep fried stuff, egg rolls, foo Yung, rangoon, doughnuts chicken fried 4 ways, fried generic buffet popcorn shrimp, etc. Soup was dwindling and needed wontons. It’s just missing something and I don’t know what it is but

BUGS IN FOOD!! I’m including several pictures! I went here for Mother’s Day. First they forgot that they seated us, so no one ever came to our table. So I ended up ordering to go. We got our food, and left. I ate an egg roll, chandler ate an egg roll, and hunter ate an egg roll. I got my second egg roll and took a tiny bite off of the top and there was BUGS COOKED INTO IT. Two different bugs!!! We immediately turned around, went back. The Owner argued with us and said that there was no bug. There was literally a face and legs. She took the bug out. Held it and literally said it was not a bug. Another customer was up there and said yes it is. She said she would refund the one egg roll. Two people from the kitchen also came up and argued with us. Finally I got a full refund. No one ever apologized, just argued. We contacted the health department and I was sure to take photos. I have never had anything like this happen and I feel physically ill!!

We drove up to an empty parking lot and started to get nervous. We stepped into a beautiful restaurant with fabulous details and artwork. I know we all get Chinese food to go these days, but what a shame to miss this kind of place. And the food… Some of the best ever! The owner is a lovely lady and she checks each order on the way out. Go visit this great place and take a moment to explore.

It was gross. Everything was cooked in dirty oil. They don’t change their fryer oil regularly. I own a food truck so I know: I’m not petty. This food tastes like dirty oil. Darker Hue on the fried items confirm that too. Very disappointed in this place. Was excited for Chinese and i got burned oil instead. Ridiculous
They toss the sweet and sour chicken so it’s SOGGY by the time it’s delivered. It’s normally sauce on side for this dish.
Lot of corners-cutting at this place. Horrible experience and I don’t review much, but it was that bad. I’ll never order here again.

Ordered their shrimp lo mein and it was absolutely horrible!! Had ZERO seasoning, bland as could be! It was so disgusting that I literally could not eat it! Had to throw it in the trash! Tasted like cardboard!

The business is beautiful. It appears very clean. I wish the entry way was set nicely with the plants. I was not impressed with the food but I’ve only had one dish. So I’mm gonna call it a one off. The waitress was quite nice. Mostly I enjoyed the artwork. I’ve included a bunch of pictures. I went to the Hinckleville Chong’s.
