Dined here during DC Restaurant week. This is located in the 1850 K St building. There is a parking garage which offers 3 hours of free parking inside the building.

RW menu was a good way to sample a variety of their popular dishes. For RW, they provide four starters – How to Pa Amb Tomaquet (Their version of Pan de cristal con tomate), Manchego Cheese, Gazpacho de Remolacha (beet and tomato soup) and Las Croquetas de le Dolors. I did enjoy all of these dishes and would get the Croquetas, Manchego cheese and Pa Amb Tomaquet again during my next visit.

For RW entrees, there were two choices, the steak or fish of the day, which was Spanish Mackerel. The Spanish Mackerel was really good- this didn’t have any bones in it. The NY Strip was just okay. It wasn’t very tender. I would try their other entrees besides the steak the next time I dine here. A great way to finish the meal was their flan which was great.

During Restaurant Week, I visited several places and would like to share my experience at Casa Teresa. This restaurant takes you straight to Spain from the very first bite. The lighting and atmosphere invite you to stay, and the bar service is outstanding—especially Yamil, who makes you feel truly taken care of.

The dinner experience was elevated by María, whose way of presenting the menu awakens your senses. The starters were all excellent, with the beet gazpacho being my favorite. I chose the fish for my main course—impeccable, accompanied by steamed potatoes and generous grilled vegetables full of flavor.

Great drink options at Restaurant Week prices. A glass of cava paired perfectly with the flan for dessert. A truly well-executed experience by the Ruben Garcia chef’s team.

This was my first time at Casa Teresa and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was warm and quiet. We were greeted warmly and our server was so sweet and attentive. My favorite part of dining outside of if the meal was when the wait staff brought out small stools to set our Christmas gifts on top so they wouldn’t lay on the ground. The thoughtfulness was evident here! The LAS CROQUETAS DE LA DOLORS was so delicious I contemplated ordering a second round. For my main course I chose the PESCADO A LA PARRILLA. The catch of the day was so delicious so well cooked with the charred skin and flaky meat. The aioli sauce was a nice touch. I only wish there were more potatoes. All in all, Casa Teresa gets all of my praise and I will be dining again here soon!

Sometimes, Downtown D.C. can clear out after work hours, but Casa Teresa is reason to stay. Located near the Farragut West Metro, Casa Teresa serves open fire-Spanish food from a chef trained by Jose Andres.

Walking inside is stepping into Spain with tile below and above you and pots hanging from the ceiling. Peek into the kitchen to see the open fire.

Dining here with a group, their back table was perfect for a more quiet dining experience.

Every dish was worth ordering, but the beet gazpacho, croquettes, and stew were the winners. The stew is the recipe of the chef’s grandmother, the founder of Spain’s first political party for and by women.

If you love Spanish food, book a table here. It’s worth your time.

Absolutely incredible experience at Casa Teresa! The moment we walked in, we were captivated by the stunning ambiance – it perfectly balances elegant and welcoming.
Our wait staff (Michelle + Jose) were fantastic; very attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly without being intrusive. We started with some delicious cocktails (shout out to Anthony + Jamil), which set the tone for the amazing meal to come.
And the food! Insanely good. Every dish was a flavor explosion, and cooked to perfection (pictured is the ibérico pork). We shared a number of small plates (pan con tomate, croquetas, patatas fritas – just to name a few) and each one was better than the last!
Highly recommend for a girls night or a date night or any special gathering!

Beautiful restaurant with great service and attentive staff. They were very accommodating of our large party. I sometimes buy jamón at grocery stores when I get a craving, but by going to restaurants like Casa Teresa, I’m immediately reminded that true authentic Spanish jamón is worth the extra effort. From the meat to the potatoes, you can taste the quality ingredients. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

Casa Teresa has a beautiful interior with large tables and first class service. My wife and daughter loved the Gazpacho soup and to be honest my favorite was the French fries. My steak came almost rare and lacked flavor. Moreover, the piece of meat was very fatty. Its possible that I simply do not like traditional Spanish food but overall I found the food to be average and prices way above average.

Good experience! Food was really good!
The scallops cooked in the shell were interesting! I liked the veggies with the aioli, which was clearly well made. The romesco sauce was with hazelnuts which gave it a unique flavor.

We went late and it was quite quiet. We sat at the bar and were two of few people there. The bartender was really attentive, friendly, and helpful!
