Food was good and service was good. I liked that they had a few vegan options. Just a heads up – the physical menu and the online menu isn’t the most up to date. Check ChowNow for pricing. Dishes can be 20% more – even if dining in. Our fajitas were $24 instead of $20 as listed on their menus. We weren’t warned till we got the bill. Would rate higher but pricing difference just feels deceptive to me.

We’ve been going here since they first opened 20 years ago. The food is still good but they clearly care more about money than customer satisfaction. The quality of their burritos is a prime example. What was once the best in the entire neighborhood (cost, flavor, and portion) is now a last minute resort. 15 seems reasonable for a chicken burrito but they’re half the size of nearby spots like Brothers, Chipotle, and Mr Burrito (all of whom stuff your tortilla to the max). Sometimes de Mole barely adds any meat at all like other reviews have mentioned. This mostly began during COVID but has continued over the years since then. My wife still thinks they have the best tacos in Sunnyside (no longer true IMO) so we end up there a few times a month but I’d definitely recommend folks with big appetites or in search of better values to go elsewhere. You’ll get more bang for your buck when dining-in but that’s true for most local restaurants.

This place is surprisingly nice and quiet. The ambiance is very pleasant and the food is great too. Favorite dessert is Tres Leches!! I also enjoyed their Michelada drink.

As someone who is well-versed in Mexican food (lived in California, and traveled all over Mexico) and living in Sunnyside for 5 years, I finally tried De Mole this week. The food meets expectations and may be better than other Mexican joints the area or NYC in general. My 3 stars is because I saw that Salsa Matcha was on the menu (I know that this is local to Puebla region and therefore hard to find at most spots) so I ordered that with my meal however it was not disclosed to me that I was ordering a $12 jar of salsa matcha – I thought I was ordering a side of it. Anyway, I happily paid for it without raising any issues, but the $12 condiment jar I bought for take-home should not have been added to my service bill which she casually added and with tip automatically calculated to me as options. I tipped 20%. I didn’t realize this until I got home.

Solid four. Food tastes great and minimal brunch menu is good thing.
It took them 45mins however to get us the food. Also, coffee is not refill free. Kind of frustrating as the mug they give it to you in, cools it very quickly so if you want another, pay up. The menu they also give you is confusing. Please stick to what you can order and the correct prices of that time.
Finally, serving on a wooden board is great for style but not practical when serving poached eggs, that will drop off the side. Some things to think about, otherwise a solid place.

It’s the fist time over here and sadly I’ll say The worst TORTA I’ve ever try. Where is the meat? The avocado? The love? That was a torta with lettuce and tomato.

Love de Mole! I always order delivery and it is super fast, great variety of options (I’m vegetarian) and the staff for the times we have picked up is very kind. One of my favorite mexican food places and will always recommend!

I go to Demole a few times out of the year but haven’t been in a while and today we decided to have lunch there with my mom and sister. The food was so delicious. It usually always is but this time was the best I ever had. The nachos amazing, the ceviche, to die for the shrimp enchiladas, life changing!! It was so good I’m still thinking about it. Of courses I finished it off with some coconut flan ugh amazing! Also, Ruth our server is one of the best. She is an excellent server and she took great care of us. Thank you!

The food was good but I ordered 2 orders of taquitos and it seemed like they just gave one order and broke it in half (in the photo it looks like 6 but it’s really 3 broken into 2 pieces).
Also to add chicken to the taquitos cost more than the taquitos themselves. And there was barely any chicken.
For the entree I got mole poblano. And it was very good . No complaints . Lots of flavor and very filling .

It’s a cozy place with some different kinds of Mexiczn cuisine on offer, for example duck enchiladas. Nothing like you see on Mexico One Dish at a Time , ok, but not your average kitchen either. Mole poblano sauce was kind of thin, but still tasty. I’d recommend trying the other choices first. And it’s the first restaurant I’ve seen in years with Negra Modelo on tap. Altogether a good dining experience. There’s a good reason they have been in the neighborhood for 18 years.
