I used to like this place and the food here but the portion sizes are just insanely bad. I get it that value menu items are smaller but just look at the attached photo here. This “””burrito””” was smaller than one of their potato thingies, I wish I had taken the picture before I unwrapped it to see how much was inside. Just horrible.

Someone that works for your company has a real problem with the F-word while working and taking orders. Very unprofessional and uncomfortable place to take your kids to eat. Love the tacos ! Every time I make it to IA, I get me some. I was hooked years ago with their 2 for $1 taco Tuesday. It’s not that cheap anymore. But I still can’t resist those tacos. They taste better than Taco Bell (Hell). Went in to eat because they used to have fresh pico to put on my tacos. They don’t anymore. Was disappointed .

How do I get in touch with the owner? The fact that it was at least 95 outside and the air conditioner is broken and when I stepped inside and it was hotter is insane. Their air conditioner is broke yet they’re still working. It’s hot as hell in there and the fact the owner still has the place open with how hot it is in there IS INSANE. Totally unacceptable. Learn to quit being money greedy and close down when it’s necessary. Ridiculous. I fully expect someone to reach out and let me know how to get in touch with the owner. I’d like to have a chat.

Better than TB. With the potato olés came with cheese sauce instead as a side order. Still good though. Love their beef burrito with just beef onions and cheese. If you want tacos for any meal this is the place to go. They even have a new taco pizza….will have to try it soon. Enjoy!!!

Taco Johns always gets my order right the first time and it’s never more than 5 minutes in their drive thru! Often less. I Usually only go out once a week and I Appreciate the work that goes into my dinner here when I do!

Absolutely one of the most disgusting experiences I’ve actually ever had. Idk who they have working here, but we just received an order from DoorDash and after eating three bites of Super Oles, I noticed what looked like hair. I pulled out (I’m not even kidding) an almost 2 foot long strand of black hair. Immediately vomited. There’s absolutely no excuse for getting parts of/ fluids from YOUR body into a customers food. Additionally, do we not check food before we cram it into a bag?
So thanks to this business and its nasty food handling practices, I’ve wasted $35 in food (because all of it got thrown away after finding the hair in the Super Oles), then another probably $30 just to get food from somewhere else for my family. Funds are tight, and this just made them that much tighter.
Not that it’s much of a loss for my family or for Taco John’s, but I definitely can’t afford to purchase anything else from here since there’s the risk that it will be contaminated.
