A super authentic dinner experience in Chinatown. The service was quick and efficient, which was perfect because our party was really hungry.

Congee: could’ve used a bit more salt but very adjustable on our own

Stir fried intestine with jalapeño: the star of the dinner for me. The sauce (I think it was Chinese bbq sauce based) was perfect and the intestines were so tender. There were also enough jalapeños that you could 1:1 ratio it with the intestine and gave it the perfect bite.

Seafood noodles: absolutely loved this dish! The crunch and drenched noodles are a great contrast and they really piled up the seafood. Brings back a lot of nostalgia for the celebrations I used to attend in Asia.

Shiu Mai and Chang fen and turnip cake: all the dim sum was yummy and affordable. One of the better turnip cake textures I’ve had. Also a huge shiu mai and it was super juicy.

Hong Kong rice with cutlet: this was my first time having this dish and it didn’t disappoint. The rice reminded me of the egg and tomato dish my parents used to make. Combine that with a crispy cutlet and it was a great foundation for the meal.

Green beans: the only disappointment of the meal. The flavor wasn’t quite there and just didn’t stand up to the way other restaurants prepare this dish.

Overall this place was amazing and would definitely recommend stopping here for a hearty, family style meal.

It’s a very old-fashioned Hong Kong-style restaurant, but all the dishes are very fresh and cooked to order. The staff are friendly and the seating is comfortable.

Me and my family came here for dinner while visiting Chinatown. The food was delicious and authentic, served at good portions and with a wide variety of choices on the menu (LOTS of different dishes to choose from!). Nice, ambient and well-decorated atmosphere. Good service, the staff were polite and attentive. Very affordable dining price, as well, which we also appreciated. Been here before many years ago and glad to know that this business is still doing well! Overall a good Chinese restaurant dining experience.

LOVE ❤️ A Chinatown classic. The turnip cake melts in your mouth with a light crunch around the edges. The shrimp rice noodle is fresh and soft. The congee with pork and thousand year egg is creamy and comforting. The pork and chicken with taro is savory delicious. Pair it with a fresh watermelon juice for a cool, sweet treat. A++++

I LOVE EVERYTHING I HAVE EVER TRIED!!!!
I have traveled an hour and a half for their pork and shrimp dumplings. The spring rolls are a revelation. I have been here about a dozen times in the last 2 years and the quality has remained the same.

A really old Gem , looks like you walked back in time with the design and menu that hasn’t changed in 30 years, same old classic like beef chow fun and noodle soup with rice rolls and Singapore Mei fan.
A great place for lunch and dinner with good portions and classic Cantonese dishes that we grew up eating.
We love the fresh vegetables with Garlic and tofu veggies rolls.

Steam shrimp dumping didn’t use the shrimp instead it’s more like ground shrimp/ shrimp purée, the skin was also too soft that wasn’t chewy at all.
Steam spareribs were okay except the awkward flavor, unsure if it’s because of the taro
Sliced fish congee was the only dish a little above average
Sliced beef rice noodle tasted okay but too greasy, you could see the oil floating on top of the soy sauce
Last straw made me deciding to never return was the “mandatory 18% tips” already added to the bill when it’s brought to our table and it’s “calculated AFTER TAX”. Cashier explained it’s only “a couple cents difference” so they didn’t change the system as it’s too complicated. I would forgive you for this excuse if you have put 1% more energy to make the food better.

One of my go to places when it comes dining at Chinatown. I ordered the Fresh Filet with Corn Sauce over Rice along with some Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll.

Amazing portions with affordable prices and it has a variety of dishes. It still has the familiar HK cafe vibes!
