This is a wonderful little wine shop. We stopped by recently for a recommendation for a wine with dinner for a gathering we were having. Cammie gave us a recommendation for several course wines. They were absolutely perfect. One of our guests loved the recommendation so much, which was inexpensive in price, that he plans to stop by and ask Cammie for a recommendation for a dinner party he is having. You can’t go wrong with this great shop we are blessed to have in New Bern. Thank you, Cammie.

We walked in on New Years Eve about 30 minutes before store closing. Picked out a lovely bottle of wine, and they very graciously offered us some hot (and SO SO tasty ) to-go containers of Hoppin’ John. It was such a sweet thing to give us! We will be back to try more of their fantastic wine selection.

Beautiful scenery and establishment in historic Newbern. The staff was patient and provided various samples to customers of several different wines. They had many different options and were very knowledgeable about all the different products they offered at their establishment. I was pleased with the fair pricing , the friendliness of staff and the overall options provided .

We belong to the wine club here and enjoy the wine tasting and discounts. The owner is very friendly and courteous. Its has a nice atmosphere during and at the tastings which they talk about the wines and regions.

Interested in interesting wines you might have seen on the internet incidentally? Try Savi’s! If Cammie the owner or John her assistant don’t have what you want in stock, they’ll either order more or recommend something from their massive selection. Been going here for the last several years and never disappointed! In fact, join the wine club and get the best prices in eastern NC, and enjoy free tastings and other events. And BTW, Cammie beats all the local grocery stores even when their wines are on sale. Support local and enjoy some nice people!

Went to savys for a wine tasting dinner. Such a cute little place. They say the house is haunted, which I love. The food was catered by Zovik, who’s cooking I loved. We were sat at a table with other (very friendly) couples. Lots of wine to taste and it was paired very well with the food. I would highly recommend. Very cool experience and it was a great value!
