Hard pass — tiny portions, stale chips, burnt burrito, and the salsa looked unsafe.
I hate leaving bad reviews, but this place was a mess. The birria tacos were tiny—like the size of a quarter of a lime—and mostly tortilla with barely any meat. On top of that, the birria had almost no flavor. No rich seasoning, no depth… just bland.
The burrito was even worse. The tortilla was burnt and the whole thing looked like it got tossed together in a hurry. The chips were stale too, which is already a bad sign.
The most concerning part: the salsa container was swollen/pressed up like it had pressure built inside. That’s not “spicy,” that’s “something’s wrong.” I didn’t touch it because it honestly looked unsafe.
Overall: bland food, bad portions, and not worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend it and I won’t be back.

The torta was decent, with fresh ingredients and a nice, soft roll, but the meat inside was a bit dry and lacking in flavor. I tried the carnitas torta, and while the carnitas were tender, they didn’t have that deep, smoky flavor I was hoping for. The toppings like avocado and salsa were good, but the overall taste felt a bit flat. The service was quick, and the staff was friendly, but the atmosphere was a bit too casual.

Food was amazing! Definitely recommend the Torta Cubana or the queso Birria taco. Pastor was ok kinda dry and missing flavor. But everything else was amazing. Translate the menu before showing up because they can’t tell you in english what the menu says.

Y’all, Please don’t order from this restaurant. Their food is disgusting, greasy, And the people that work there are rude. How is your food going to be nasty and your Staff is rude? Make it make sense! You can’t have both or be both. I mean, I know it was cold outside tonight (1/5/25) But dang, Why my food have to be cold? I’m gonna keep reporting this restaurant to other people and possibly the state of Texas. I ordered two chicken fajita burritos and got one steak fajita and one chicken fajita. They don’t read their orders when making them, Just pathetic. if y’all want real food go to taco Cortez- plus I spent less money there than here and got a whole Brea pizza that was so good. I’m a show y’all the food that I got from taco Cortez in the red box and tell me what I think I already ate half of it. I’m gonna show you their food on the right side… just nasty.

I get to pick a place to eat once a month for work, and at first this spot was one of my favorites. My husband and I would DoorDash it all the time, always asking for no onions. I hate the smell, taste, and texture of onions. The rest of the torta is amazing, but the onions ruin it for me. Lately though, every time we order—whether through DoorDash or in person—my food still comes with onions. At first we blamed it on not being able to talk to the restaurant staff directly, so I started asking my husband to go order in person.
Every time he goes in, the lady at the register is rude and always on the phone. If he asks for extra salsa, she gets annoyed. One time she dropped napkins and my spoon on the floor while packing the bag, scratched her head aggressively, then tossed everything in the bag anyway. I tried to ignore it because honestly, the torta is good when they get it right (what can I say, I’m a fatty). But it sucks that this is the place we want to enjoy a couple times a month, and instead I’m dealing with onions every time, rude service, and frustration. At this point, we’ll probably stop going and I’m really sad about that. If Taqueria Cortez was closer, we’d definitely go there instead, but for now this was the closest decent Mexican food we could get. I had a picture but there’s no option to upload

Food was fine but staff was unpleasant, they have chilequeles on the menu but wouldn’t serve it to me. It wasn’t busy so they weren’t sold out. She assumed I wanted mild sauce but when I asked for it spicy I received some weird attitude. Get rid of the unpleasant staff who stare at their phones and if they are not staff and are part of the owners or management they need to learn to be more hospitable and welcoming. This is closer to my house but I’d rather drive another 3 minutes in front of Albertsons to kind people
