I ordered the Egg Foo young and replaced white rice with fried rice for an extra $2.50. The egg foo young was good but what I received for fried rice was NOT fried rice. Fried rice has scrambled eggs, peas, carrots green onions, etc. What I received was just white rice with a light drizzle of soy sauce on it. It wasn’t even re-fried. The egg rolls were delicious and I ordered some to go. The crab rangoons had some with no filling, just fried wonton wrappers. So, overall the food is just hit or miss.

After the thoughtful response from Imperial Chinese Garden, we thought it was important to go back. We’ve since ordered take-out a few times. Just as before, the food has been excellent, so we are updating to 4 stars.

Terrible service; good food.
We made a reservation and were seated immediately. But it took 60+ minutes for anyone to take our order. Long wait for drinks as well. We had to get the menus ourselves. It took another 60 minutes to get any main meals.
They brought out one main meal all by itself and then no others for about 5 minutes. Then they brought out half the other main meals and then it was another 10+ minutes before they brought the rest. No one offered to refill drinks until the meal was over for most of us.
Something was wrong with their order sequence. Every table in the room the guests who arrived after us got their food before we finished getting ours (and most ate and left before we got the check).
Even the small service details were frustrating. They said they ran out of chopsticks, but we passed a full basket of them in the lobby on our way out.
The food was good, but it took about 3 hours and almost all of that time was waiting for food. We saw several people who gave up and left because no one came to take their orders.
Nice atmosphere for a casual restaurant (see pictures), and perhaps they had call-offs, but there’s no good explanation for why 5+ other tables got food before we got even half of ours even though they arrived after we did. Bringing main meals out staggered so much was also a problem because either the guests sat there and let the food get cold or they ate while others were waiting.

The food is bland, overpriced, and barely buffet-quality. Service is dead; the “staff” is either shouting in the back or ignoring you, while the owner sits at the front being loud on her phone. We had to wait 10-15 minutes when the restaurant was empty before being sat down by our waitress who looked to be in her late 30s. When our food came it was cold. Honestly if I could give this place 0 stars I would. Save your money and go elsewhere.

We wanted something a little different from the ordinary Chinese food so we tried imperial. The exquisite Asia art was absolutely gorgeous. I mean they have a fountain in the center of the joint. Really nice. BUT the food was mediocre at best and they gave my friend the wrong order. I will not recommend if you have to travel more than 15min. I would recommend if you like authentic Asian decor and art. The service was good and they were very nice.
Side note: It would be nice if they had runners down over the carpet it looked pretty worn.

The establishment is nice and clean. However, the food was not good at all. No flavor on anything, and everything was soggy. I got sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken, both looked the exact same aside from the sauce. The sweet and sour sauce had an aftertaste that was very distasteful. I ask the cashier of the vegetable egg roll had noodle, and he said no. I ordered 2 servings which was an extra $11 and they all have noodle. I was very disappointed, I didn’t even finish the food. I spent $49 on 3 meals w/egg rolls and no one ate half of their meal. Very disappointed, will never eat here again.

Based on the reviews I drove about 7 miles to get to this place and I was sooooo disappointed. I ordered crab rangoons which was really just fried wontons with a 1/4 tsp of dried up cream cheese, house fried rice which had 3 shrimp 4 pieces of beef and some shredded chicken, General Tso chicken which was deep fried battered chicken in something that almost tasted like pancake syrup. This food is horrible. Definitely not worth the money or the drive for me.

Me and my wife have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant ever since our favorite one closed. It took us a while but we found it in Imperial Chinese Garden. The food is delicious, looks great. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff are very nice and cordial. We have been multiple times and will continue to go back. I fully recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.

I recently did take out here. I’ve never had a problem, the food was always great but I noticed during my last visit the food was not good. The hot n sour soup was bland and missing something. For my main entree it was supposed to be spicy and they gave me sweet n sour. I wonder if it’s new owners because it’s not the same.
