Atmosphere is pretty cool, food was less than mediocre but not the worst.
The service was complete trash, miserable bartender, zero personality. She made us feel like we were a burden. She is the sole reason I will never come back and I will strongly recommend noone ever goes here. The staff here are miserable, awful people.

Met some friends from the city for dinner here tonight, no one was disappointed! Free popcorn & peanuts available for all, the peanut shells are all over the floor fyi for those of you w peanut allergies. Outdoor fireplace was very nice if you know someone who smokes, or just want some fresh air! I hadn’t had Chix & Waffles in quite some time, their spin on it really hit the spot! The fried green beans are a favorite! Friends said the stuffie was good, could actually taste the clams! Finished up w a piece of banana cake (a special), which was very nice indeed. Entertainment started at 8, nice ambience without being too loud. We will be back!

Found this place randomly while driving through Wickford. Looked decent enough from the outside so we stopped in.
I had the smoked chicken sandwich and my dad had their pizza. While the fries with my sandwich were great, the sandwich itself was mediocre. It first came without the promised chipotle mayo, but that was quickly noticed and remedied by our server.
The piece of chicken was well smaller than the roll they served it on and was definitely not fresh. The texture was almost chewy. And… I tasted nothing remotely “smokey” in my smoked chicken sandwich.

Solid southern-style barbecue and a relatively cozy interior! Service was prompt and the portions were definitely generous! Free popcorn and peanuts are a solid plus for the bar.
Only problem with this place is their bigoted regular crowd – if you don’t feel like listening to sexist and xenophobic chatter, maybe stay away from the bar area and their regulars.

Went for BBQ but decided on fish and chips or onion rings rather. Very comfortable atmosphere. Clean and friendly. My two pieces of fish were pretty thick and delicious. Good value for the money. Free peanuts and yummy popcorn was nice. The place has a nice vibe and atmosphere to it. Open seating around the bar gives it a tavern feel but still has a cozy family feel as well. Will definitely return if I’m in the area.
PS. I really feel like this is a 5 star place. I would totally recommend going here. I just did 4 stars because of the onion rings. I paid an extra dollar for onion rings that reminded me of store bought ‘generic / Walmart’ onion rings. I feel like if I would have ordered the fries… I would have done 5 stars. (Assuming the fries are awesome.) The onion rings were underwhelming but the rest of the meal and atmosphere was SPOT on! Like… I LOVE this place! I wish I lived next door to it.

Just love this place. Come in expecting good food and pub environment and you will not be disappointed. When we head upstate, this is our favorite comfortable lunch or dinner spot. Also a nice place to catch a game. Try the BBQ.

The burnt end Mac and cheese was fantastic! The smoked chicken sandwich had a good smokey flavor and the chipotle mayo for it was good. The stuffie had a good flavor.
